Beautiful illustrations and designs but with a problematic issue By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:ae6b6c210b80ca7bb5d20a4ec25c6cef]]Attached to this review will be a silent flip-through of the entire coloring book so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it will work for you.Rather than discuss how this is like or different from the books and/or TV series, I will discuss only how I feel about it as an adult coloring book.First of all, the illustrations are beautiful. I say illustrations rather than designs because a number of them appear to be finished ink and pen studies rather than designs that a colorist can finish and interpret in their own unique way. For those designs, I can't envision how I would color them (possibly with watercolors) but I certainly will try as I'm up for a challenge. Because of this, I detracted a star from my rating.There are still many designs which I feel that I can, as a moderately experienced colorist and artist, be able to color and enjoy. For those, there are intricate details and I may need to use my magnifying lamp to work on those areas.Physically, the book is very well made. The designs are printed on one side with excerpts from the books written on the back of the page. The pages are thick and white; however, they are not perforated. The binding is glued rather than sewn, so removing pages from the book will be a little more difficult. Most of the designs merge into the binding, but the portions that might be lost if I cut the pages out are not the central theme of the design.None of my gel pens bled through to the back of the page. My colored pencils all worked well on the surface of the paper. My water-based markers did not leak through; however, my ultra-fine Sharpies and Copics did. In any case, I would recommend putting a waste sheet of some sort (chipboard, freezer paper, cardstock, etc.) under the page you are working on to keep ink from possibly getting on the following pages.In summary, an interesting coloring book with some very colorist unfriendly but beautiful illustrations. The book is very well made but could be improved upon if the pages were perforated for easy removal.

I LOVE the Cersi picture and the Sansa Stark one, as well so some of the more intricate pieces, but I'm irked by the 'quality' of some of the images. Coloring Book brings to the mind of sharp crisp and bold black line, but there are some pictures that feel more like sketches and are unfinished in some fashion. This is counted by the good intricate and complex images. I was really wanting to see more characters, but we only get Cersi, Sansa, Loras, Melisandra, Vareys, Daario, and even Khal Drogo... no BIG players everyone would love to color. No Tryion, Jaime, any of the other Starks, Cersi's spawn, Danerys... etc.TL;DR: Some great images for coloring, the rest feels... poopy. Honestly I'd rather scour the internet for free linearts from artists for the series. Check the book out in stores and see if its for you... but I can't honestly recommend buying this book.

I enjoyed this reading this summary and appreciated the breakdown of the book into 9 key takeaways. Grady is a policeman from Pittsburgh that is helping the NY City PD by going undercover to find a big person in the city's drug world. There, he is attracted to Lana who seems to be more than it looks like at the beginning. Grady is the only person at this time that I am sure of. Everyone else, I am not so sure. This is as an interesting, well written book. Good job, Lexy Timms. This book does end with a big cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review.

Gripping throughout By Peter Martin Perfect For Me: Law Enforcement Undercover Cop...Lexy TimmsNote: first person, present tense, some sex, some violence.Lt. Grady goes undercover to help NYC cops solve some of their drug problem. He's trying to find the king pin and has to start at the bottom. He finds himself falling for the girl, Lara, who is the girlfriend of the first 'boss' he has to work under. There's heat there from the get go.I can't wait to find out what's going to happen in book 2. There's a great twist at the end of this one!

The characters were developed and the story flowed well. I like Grady but don't trust Lara at all. This book does end on a cliffhanger but hopefully the next part will be out soon. I'm not super anxious to read what happens next but for the price (if I had purchased it) it was a good read.

Lovely and worth reading until the very end By Barks Book Nonsense Nowhere Ranch is a story about finding love and a home when just the thought of an emotional entanglement sends you running in terror.Monroe grew up on a farm and expected to spend his life there but circumstances drastically changed when his parents discovered he was into boys and told him to straighten up or get out. Roe refused to hide who he was and left, spending a small stint in jail and moving from town to town, job to job, terrified of sticking around long enough to make a friend or tie of any kind. He signs on as ranch hand at the aptly named "Nowhere Ranch" and doesn't really notice owner Travis Loving as anything other than "boss" until the night they bump into each other at the nearest bar and realizes they have a whole heck of a lot in common.Both were just looking for some hot kinky sex (and boy did they find some!) and plan to return to the boss/employee relationship though Travis makes it clear he'd welcome Roe on his door at any time for more sexy times. Roe gets skittish just thinking about establishing any sort of tie with Travis and ignores his invitation despite his body's urgings to pay him a visit and have some more of the hottest sex of his life. He plans to flee, as he always does, but then things happen and he ends up in bed with Travis and it gets all the more difficult to leave.Roe tells the story so everything is told from his perspective and at moments it feels as if he is talking straight to you, the reader. It's a very intimate reading experience. Roe is hard working, quiet and down to earth and a really nice guy who has never given himself a chance to have a real relationship, even a friendship. Those who should have loved him unconditionally have damaged him and now he's afraid to let anyone in.Fortunately for Roe, he meets two people who don't allow him to get away with his "ignore and flee" mentality. The first is Travis, who is just there, patient and steady and around whenever Roe needs him. He's a lovely guy, a little older, a wee bit hairy and has a realistic little paunch that doesn't diminish his sexiness one iota. And then there's Haley, the ranch manager's daughter, who is pushy, bossy, nosy and forces Roe to open up and become her friend. All of these entanglements are new for Roe and it's difficult for him.I truly enjoyed the progression of Roe and Travis's relationship from casual hookup, to friends to strong emotional entanglement that can't easily be undone. Their characterization was low key and believable. Their dialogue, Roe's thoughts, as their settling in to a life with each other was very, very well done."He nodded back and watched me work. I'd worried he was going to get kissy on me, but he stayed where he was, and bless him, he didn't talk, just watched me work. I poured myself some coffee and got to it."And there are so many beautiful sigh worthy moments."You were beautiful. You made my teeth ache just watching you. Right then I felt beautiful. Sore and tired and beautiful. And not lonely. Not lonely at all."A word of warming is necessary here, methinks, because the sex is raw and rough and not everyone's cuppa. But it's all consensual and very hot and didn't come off as gratuitous, each scene leads up to the next as barriers break down and the two fall in love.My only problem with the book was with the character of Haley, who though funny, lovable and a very good friend for Roe, was also too outspoken and opinionated and ranty for her own good. And don't get me started on the ending. Grrrrr, too late. The ending was so schmaltzy and just didn't feel right to me. It was very unsettling actually and felt tacked on to please someone. I don't quite know who but it wasn't me. If it weren't for the ending this book would've earned a full five stars. Do yourself a favor and skip the last few pages.

I found myself not reading, but listening to him, with my head cocked to one side, hanging to his words like a rope that could keep me safe, because this story is so intense at times that I felt as if Roe's pain was mine.What I really appreciated in the relationship between the main characters is that they are very practical. Roe is not too keen on the relationship thing with Travis, but he doesn't obsess over it. We don't read endless internal monologues of what he's feeling. Roe speaks his mind, he knows what he's feeling even when he can't express it. When the words don't come out, when something happens that he feels like choking, he runs. Travis is always there for him.The way their relationship moves from casual sex to love is gradual and natural. There is some kinky sex, but it's defining of them together, because it shows how they fit together, how they accept each other, how they trust each other. It's a release, but it's also a connection. There's urgency, but also sweetness. It was fascinating to see how Roe was finally able to open himself to Travis and when Travis showed his vulnerability, we could see how they were meant to be with each other and to heal their hurts with their love.I liked to see how Roe changed and how his life improved at Nowhere Ranch. Haley had a pivotal role in his change: in her acceptance, Roe realizes that no one has the right to make him feel bad about his sexual orientation, that he is not ignorant or dumb, but that he is smart and he just needs to learn things differently. I rejoiced with Roe for his achievements.It's a really moving story, where the author achieves an incredible balance of romance and sex, making us see how these two aspects are entwined, finding the right words to make the honest voice of Roe come alive.

What is that called, pony play? I found the eventual big scene equal parts off-putting and totally hilarious as far as, "Really? I mean, whatever floats your boat..."Anyway, the two main characters aren't all bad, but the female friend that comes in is just awful: self-righteous and rude. By the time they go visit the young boy's family, I was skipping whole paragraphs and I couldn't take it for much longer. I did not finish this book (I also deleted it from my kindle to save space).I read this and other gay romance books right in a row, and this one just felt flat in comparison. A rather dull storyline and the 'sexy older man' didn't feel well developed beyond someone who bought a farm and now wants to [spoiler?] fist you ALL the time. Yikes.

It's just that it aroused my curiosity. I really never thought there ways to actually enlarge one's penis but the ones presented here sound legit. I would suggest men who are not quite satisfied with their size to read this book but I would recommend even more to just feel contented with what they have.

The tips in this book will not turn a 2 inch penis into a 12 incher, but you WILL add INCHES to your length as well as a sizable improvement to your girth. I’ve tried several books and supplements, and unfortunately none of them worked. That is not the case here. You WILL see a noticeable improvement. Give this book a shot and surprise your lover. You’ll be glad you did.

I had been eyeing them recently at Hobby Lobby and was given this to for a fair and honest review. So here goes.....I LOVE this book. I have already begun working on one of the pages. It has different patterns that I think anyone could enjoy. They range from abstract "mandala patterns", to koalas, butterflies, and more. I think it will definitely help me "calm my mind" those nights I can't sleep because my brain just won't stop (which is often).The paper is high quality and I have used colored pencils, fine tip markers, and even watercolor pencils WITHOUT bleed through.For me, this is a winner! Even adults need their "playtime" to destress and unwind after a long day! Indulge your inner child.

I have been coloring in adult coloring books since March 2015. I have/had over 30 coloring books. This is by far the worst one I have ever owned!!! As a serious shopper on Amazon, I should have known that a 5-star rating out of 413 reviews is highly suspicious. It's my fault for that and for not reading thoroughly that the reviews were written because they were "test subjects". I don't believe any company would give something to someone to review without some sort of compensation. Call me paranoid, but that's how the world really works.Pros: Paper quality is good. One-sided pages is good.Cons: Over half are, in my opinion, not challenging enough for adults. Some look like a poor quality photocopy. WORST of all is a lot are not full pictures. As you can see from my attached photos, the picture falls off the page! It's incomplete! Why would you ever put a mandala in a book that you can only color one-half of and looks to have been blown up!!! Why put a beautiful butterfly in the center and cut off the flowers at the edges. These pictures should be complete and centered in the page. The seam is glue-bound which obviously the pictures that are cut off are impossible to color in the seam. You have to tear it out of the book. The book does not lay flat. You will notice in one of my pictures a tear mark. I did tear a mandala out that was complete. I have attached that so you can see what I mean about the entire picture being on the page in full and centered. In all, I only completed 3 pictures. They took less than an hour. That means it's easy and best for children. I am donating the rest of the book for children to use.This is a travesty. An insult to real ADULT coloring books. If you're an adult and wish for a TRUE challenge and good quality, check out coloring books by Creative Haven. Huge assortment, pages printed on one side, and pages are perforated for easy removal. I put mine in a notebook and also share my art on DeviantArt.

I've been wanting an adult coloring book to de stress and zone out with. Love this book! The designs are gorgeous and intricate. There are more pages than I had anticipated. It's just what I was hoping it would be. I'm planning on purchasing more for gifts!

I enjoyed the story and loved the characters (main & supporting) but there were a few things about the story that really bothered me. SPOILER ALERT....I didn't understand why Bryce (or anyone else) wasn't suspicious about the timing of Holli's pregnancy news...I mean, she never said a word till he was about to go home to start a relationship with Devon (because she finally turned 18). I kept thinking I missed something. She begged for a relationship even though Bryce told her he didn't want to be with her. Why didn't she say anything about the pregnancy then? Was she really pregnant? Was it even his? He never even questioned any of it. It just wasn't believable at all. It seemed obvious that it was a last ditch attempt to keep him but he automatically believed her. And the fact that he spent SO MUCH TIME with her after the miscarriage. Yes, miscarriages are hard but it was obvious she was using it to her advantage but it was never really addressed. He even took her to his HOUSE for a WEEK to "recover". Why? It wasn't even clear if they were having sex during their attempt at being a couple (at her insistence). And before anyone starts the comments...yes, I've had a miscarriage. Two actually. So I know it's devastating but Holli took it all just too far. I absolutely loved Quinn & I'm hoping she gets her own book...or is that what book 2 is going to be about? Maybe a Quinn & Nate relationship? Anyway....Devon (heroine) was a terrific character....she had her heart shattered into pieces but picked herself up & tried to get on with her life as best she could. My heart actually hurt for her. Bryce....well, I was back & forth on him. My heart hurt for him too but I also felt like he got off too easy...she forgave him too quick. I would have liked for him to have jumped thru more hoops, I guess. I wanted him to have to fight HARD for her. As for the cliffhanger....it seemed to come out of the blue. I felt like their story was finished....they were happy, everything was great, all the pieces had fallen into place. That's why I wondered if book 2 was Quinn's story....maybe with a little bit of Bryce & Devon mixed in. I get that Quinn & Devon were offered an incredible opportunity & I get that it could be dangerous but I just don't think it's worth another book. I seriously doubt they'll break up over it (since they fought tooth & nail to finally be together) & I KNOW neither of them would cheat (he BETTER not!!), they are both in the same state now & Holli is a couple of states away so she's no longer a problem & the program is only what, 4wks? 6wks? Guess I'll have to wait & see what book 2 has in store for us. Anyway, I would've given 5 stars for the characters & character development but it was the vagueness of a lot of the situations & unanswered questions that bothered me the most about this story.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. This was a good story By twisted It's a roller coaster. Heartbreaking prologue. Then the cliffhanger. Yeah, I didn't see that coming. I thought if we were getting a series out of this it would be Quinn's or Nate's story.....sadly no.Now, what bothered me. Serious, buy these people some Kleenex because everyone, females, cries if the wind blows. That drives me insane. Secondly, they need to invest in gags or muffle because, really, all the screaming during sex.Biggest issue.....the whole miscarriage issue with the crazy ex-hookup chick. I don't even know what to call that....but I think I coined my own new term.....drama fodder. The definition being....."that pesky 'rediculous' situation, person, behavior, etc., used to drive plot conflict which is unbelievable over reaction to connect a reader to the story conflict and eventually causes the storyline to lose some GRIP ON REALITY, thereby causing the reader to just blow off the angst as just a bunch of silly thoughts that add meaningless chapters to a book because it is so 'unbelievably ridiculous' that it causes the reader to have eye rolling marathons leading to headaches.....okay, I'm getting silly here, but really....do you see where I'm going with this?I get that writers have to come up with conflict for novels or the plot stagnated. I'm a creative writing teacher for 24 years. I teach this stuff DAILY to high school and college students. I NEVER hesitate to call out the NEED for "imaginative believable conflict." Even in fiction, the conflicting plot drivers have to be supported realistically by behavior, dialogue, etc., or guess what....readers roll eyes (not in a good way) and writers really don't want bad eye rolls...just trust me on this because it cost a good story a star.In this case.....the whole post miscarriage behavior, really by all parties involved, except the ex who was crazy manipulative, but really in her case as well, was not working to be believable behavior at all. It cost that star in this case....well, that and the cliffhanger. Should have thought that one through and gone for different couple.And now I will gladly accept all hate mail feedback, but only after you really read this and try to accept all the characters behavior after this miscarriage. THAT used to drive the conflict should have been thought over.

One thing I loved about Heart's Design is that several seemingly impossible situations and relationships were transformed by God's grace. It was a timely reminder that God can transform the situations we find ourselves in as well. I also love the time and attention JoAnn gives to the details when writing. I appreciate that landmarks and local customs, in particular, are well researched for authenticity and accuracy. JoAnn Durgin is without question one of my most favorite authors, and I highly recommend Heart's Design as well as all her other books! You won't be disappointed!

It is a beautifully told story of Caroline, a young woman trying to find our own place in the world instead of following the path that her father had planned for her, and Seth who is trying to find the way to forgiveness for a man that he feels destroyed his family, and then their working through their pasts to see if they can find a future. It is a wonderful story showing that following God's path is what does bring true happiness. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good Christian love story combined with faith and forgiveness.

This story gives you love at first sight, a dose of bitterness, a long "rocky" journey and a happily-ever-after that will leave you warm and fuzzy.God often weaves our lives intricately into the lives of others in ways we can't comprehend. This book weaves scripture and Godwinks into everyday life in ways so natural it's refreshing. I'm a huge fan of Seth and Caroline as well as the entire population of Evergreen!!!

It was getting really great and (The End) What a great story and concept but to abruptly end it. I laughed at the epilogue...To me the story is great and cries for completeness. I ask the author to consider making this a complete story with a completed epilogue. It's almost like the characters are speaking to the reader to help them..Enough said, great as a free read but unfinished. Yet, if I purchased this as a read....I would be requesting a refund, as its not complete.

SHE CAME TO MARRY AND BEFORE SHE REALLY BECAME A WIFE SHE HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY By Dorothy Hendrickson Not a good way to start a marriage for Charlotte and William. He was giving her some time to get to know him because they married as soon as she got off the train, but they did not expect her to have an appendectomy before they consummated their marriage. It was a blessing that that met Sam on the way to meet up with William and Noah, because he is a doctor and saved Charlotte's life. Abby and Sam has taken a seriously interest in each other. We need to read the next book to see how things are going with the couple's.

11 of 13 people found the following review helpful. Vincent doesn't quite measure up to Nero - some spoilers By Justirishgirl For me, Nero the story and the man were hard to live up to. I really loved Nero, the man, for many reason including that he was a jealous, possessive and protective alpha who rescued Ella from a bad situation. He fell in love with her swiftly and hard. I loved watching that occur. They was a lot of sexual tension between them and IMO the sex scenes were hot. I have reread the book several times. One of the things I loved about Nero, that Vincent lacked, is that he gave up his manhoe ways shortly after hanging out with Ella. Unfortunately, Vincent did not and that is the main reason why I did not love this book. Vincent did just did not measure up or manup in that respect. It took him too long to stop manhoing around.Some spoilers included belowAs we know from Nero, Vincent was a manhoe. I could handle it until he kissed and spent time with Lake. At his high school graduation ceremony, he had his own cheering section made up of mothers and daughters. Lake ran away from the ceremony after figuring that out as it hurt her. Up to at least 42% into the book Vincent was still have sex with OW, even after he kissed Lake. The scene that upset me was when a stripper was going down on him the girl's bathroom and Lake saw as soon as she entered the bathroom. The only thing good about the scene is that she immediately threw up all over her. I almost gave up reading after that scene. However I didn't and am glad because he finally kept it in his pants.The story was interesting. It kept my attention. I loved reading about Nero and Elle again. They are still very much in love and hot for each other. It was nice reading about the secondary characters too. I liked how all of the girls bonded and hung around with each other. Like Nero the ending was HFN. However, unlike Nero, this is not a story that I will be reread multiple times, much less one.If Chloe's story is next I am not sure I will read it. This book gave us glimpses into the love triangle between Lucca, Amo and Chloe. This triangle is acknowledged by other characters with some of the characters being either team Lucca or Amo. The thing is that IMO neither is good enough for her. It is the same thing that bothered me about Vincent. While both Lucca and Amo are interested in her Chloe but are still acting like manhoes. Lucca is seen several times leaving after screwing OW but apparently feels guilty about it because he asks Elle and Lake not to tell her. Amo is still eye_ucking other girls including Lake on multiple occasions. He too is continuing to screw around even though he has strong feelings for Chloe. Given how rotten her life has been Chooe deserves someone who keeps it in his pants after hanging out with her - not a manhoe who it takes too longer to reform. Unfortunately I do not think that is going to happen. We were given a glimpse of a meeting between one of the secondary females and a teacher. Maybe there is hope for her.........

By LCC This book makes me sad, very sad.This Vincent guys sounds like a total ass, the heroine is a total pushover, the "bad people" (the stepdad, the mom, the step sister) are kind of ridiculous and let's not even talk about the excessive and totally unnecessary used of the word "Bitch" is Bitch this, bitch that, to the left, to the right.Also, I know we are talking about fiction here but you can't go killing and beating up people, burning homes, etc, etc without any consequences, not even the "mafia"One of the worst books so far this year.

I read and re-read that book over and over again, so I had huge expectations for Vincent. I am left feeling very disappointed by Vincent and can honestly say that I will not go back and re-read it.I felt like some parts of the book were rushed and most of it felt forced and predictable.I gave this book a three because Sarah is a fantastic writer who has done well in setting up a story within a story. I am wanting to know who the shooters were after, because I don't believe it was Maria, that seems to obvious. And of course there's the Chloe story that is just itching to be told.
