By Salt If you are a young adult (whatever young means to you is fine!), love God, love reading, and struggle being real in your christian faith, amidst challenges and relationships, then I do highly recommend this series ( the worthy seies) just for you.I nearly stopped reading the first book, thinking it might be a bit shallow but as I pressed on I saw myself consciously making decisions to strengthen my own faith- goes to show I shouldn't have been so quick to judge !The three books have different lessons for singles, couples and families respectively . With every page and every book, Ms Smith just got better and better. I mean, without being preachy, the entire series constantly reminded me that the reality of my faith is in my personal walk with Jesus and not in the things around Him. I am definitely moving on to the next set of books.I have to ask though, (perhaps this is not the forum to do so ), are the sections where the story is being told from Stephen's point of view actually close to the thoughts of a typical christian male? Would love to know.I am not too sure I can be considered a worthy critique of fiction having never written one in my life:(, but being a voracious reader, if I dare create my personal list of top 100 inspirational authors, S.M. Smith is on it!All in all, I absolutely loved the journey of Jessie and Stephen and recommend 'the worthy series' to anyone who loves beautiful wholesome, romantic, novels.

I read 3 - 5 books a week but rarely purchase a book. I get books from the library and get them free on my Kindle. This book is the 3rd book in a series and after reading the first 2, I had to buy this one. The characters are Christians but they are people first. There's no holier than thou stuff in this book. The main character (Jessie) kind of got on my nerves in the first 2 books because she seemed very self absorbed. Without giving away the plot, I'll say the 3rd book does a great job of tying things up. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good, clean story with some suspense but characters you can identify with.

By Rebecca Bridges "A Family Worth Fighting For" is a moving end to a series that reminds us that no matter what our circumstances, God loves us. He blesses us beyond measure even when we are going through the fire of tribulations. Being an adoptive parent who struggled with infertility and PCOS myself, I feel am thankful to have a story that mirrors the love I have felt by my Savior, my husband, and my family through it all. You get to really understand how things are in a Mc the good the bad & the ugly. In Wild Child you see that Jo's a free spirit and when she finds out that Nailez lied to her she runs.Nailez is so scared of marriage from his 1st wife he refused to even consider it with Jo. You get to experience the up's & downs with the club and all the couples. I can't wait for the next book in this series!!! If you enjoy Mc books this is a must read!!!

This reads like a true story. I'd suggest reading Wild Child first but there is enough back story you can read Nailed alone. Enjoyed seeing the same people with a few new names. Needa Warrant has more in store for us in Blindsided, her next book. A 5 star read for me!

After reading the first book in this series, and getting completely hooked, it was tough having to wait for Nailed and to find out Nailz and Jo's story, along with more of Kima and Veiko and some other characters I got to meet and fall in love with in book 1!! I wasn't disappointed either.Just like the first book in this series, this is not your average, run of the mill, MC book. Nailz and Jo's story is not all hearts and flowers, butterflies and cupcakes - it's a hot, and at times gritty, emotional ride you're not going to want to get off from - it's 'get in your face at times' real. Picking up where we left off in book 1, Wild Child, we get more Kima and Veiko along with Nailz and Jo's story. I love how Needa Warrant pulls a reader right in to not only the story, but in to her characters in such a strong way that even long after you finish the book, these characters are going to stay with you for a good long while.This series continues to be one of my favorite MC series out there. With quality writing and great story lines, character development and chemistry, this is definitely a MUST read and will leave you in need for more from this author.MC love, relationships and survival, this book has it all, and then some.

By Megan Rand This is the best book that I have ever read about fertility and pregnancy, and I have read a LOT! I was so excited to see Christa's philosophy of digging to the root cause of a health issues applied to the topic of fertility, conception, healthy mamas and healthy babies in a very detailed book. What an amazing resource for our future mamas!!! I wish I had had this resource before having my first baby because we could have avoided years of gut dysfunction and doctors. Although the title of the book says that it is for women over 30, this book is for everyone who is interested in a healthy pregnancy and baby! A must have for your library :)

IF YOU HAVE PCOS READ THIS BOOK. For the last 7 years, after trying EVERY fertility treatment out there and not achieving pregnancy, I have slowly been detoxing my life, one step at a time. I started with what I ate (lost 80 pounds from just making healthier, "detoxify" choices), then I detoxify my cleaning products and recently I have started detoxifying my personal hygiene products. After 7 years of working at everything listed in this book (I had to research and learn everything contained in this book on my own), my cycles are almost completely normal and are between 30-40 days now, I don't have blood sugar spikes or bottom outs (last month my glucose blood tests my doctor ordered was completely normal and she was shocked) and last month I clearly detected ovulation (unfortunately didn't achieve pregnancy but fingers crossed for this month). I still have work to do (love dairy struggling with giving it up so I at least buy no hormone no antibiotic milk), but I have faith I'll get pregnant and I have most all my "very resistant case of" (as my doctor put it 10 years ago followed by "consider adoption") pcos under control thanks to the ideas in this book...

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Bad advice on gluten and dairy By Emily Clason I would give this book 3.5 stars, actually. There's some good content in it about getting healthy with PCOS but one thing that really throws off the author's credibility her advice on eliminating gluten and dairy. For both of these, she advises the reader to eliminate each for a week or two, and then add them back in by eating THREE "gluten-heavy" or "dairy-heavy" meals in ONE DAY! And if your body doesn't respond well you know you have a sensetivity. Give me a break! My body would have a nasty response if I did that with ANY food--veggies, meat, caffeine, fruit & sugar, etc. The fact is, most people handle gluten just fine as long as they have a healthy gut and don't overdo it on refined and modernized grains. As for dairy, it's a good idea to significantly reduce your intake of pasteurized dairy, but what's wrong with pure, grass fed sources?! Even people who are lactose intolerant can often tolerate grass fed butter just fine.

All the characters had similar storylines they were also almost described the same as if they were related. Timeline was completely inaccurate. The drama was repetitive and tiring. It was like reading book 1&2. Nothing makes sense in this book. Amateur dialogue,this is rushed work. Almost a month later and I'm just finishing this book. One of the worst endings I ever came across. I won't even bother to read the last two. This may very well be my first and last read from this author!

Reduce Inflammation and Get Back to Life By Rebecca groen As someone who struggles with joint inflammation, headaches and constant bloating, I have constantly been told that medication is the answer to all my problems...and then they get worse...and then I over-medicate. I am a meat and potatoes type of girl and not very good at following 'diets' because I have a hard time being told what to eat, but I love that there are charts to suggest food to avoid (high inflammatory foods) and food you can eat as much as you want of (low inflammatory foods). Whether you are looking for a strict eating plan, or a timer-saver, this book provides you with all of the information you need to get started, with lots of options to cater to your taste preferences, boost your immune system and reduce inflammation throughout your body.

Apparently, I am one of the few people who actually paid for this book on Amazon. At least 23 of the reviewers received a free copy of the book in exchange for a “fair and honest” review. I found almost no reviews that mentioned actually trying the meal plans.The book contains some useful information and many, many recipes. If that is what you are looking for, this may be a good purchase for you. The meal plans, however, are highly unrealistic. The estimated prep/cook times are a joke and the number of ingredients within a week is through the roof. If you have no job but a whole bunch of money, then these plans might work. Also, other than the breakfast smoothies, the plans don’t offer any beverage guidance. The book mentions several beverages to avoid (e.g. milk, alcohol, caffeinated beverages), but does not offer much information on what is beneficial to drink. Should I restrict my intake to water? I love water, but, even for me, only drinking water would feel too much like a diet and not enough like an achievable meal plan.In short, if you are looking for a realistic meal plan to address your inflammation issues, skip this book. If you are looking for a variety of recipes with foods that some experts have identified as helping reduce inflammation, buy this book. Especially if you like coconut.

Maybe that's my fault and not the fault of the book...but I'm a healthy eater already (no junk food), and with the "Time Saver Plan", I wrote down a shopping list of 49 different ingredients, many of them considered somewhat "exotic"......and that was just Monday - Wednesday of Week 1.Enough said. Unless you're both wealthy & retired, who has time or this?

23 of 26 people found the following review helpful. Plot twists galore! By Vilhelmina The Fourth Descendant is a fast-paced, creative mystery story. It picks up quickly, although in the very first chapters of the book there is some repetition of similar events as the four protagonists are introduced. This part could have been edited down. Once the introductions are over with the plot twists enter the picture; and there are a lot of them! Every time I thought I had figured the author's mind out and could guess where the story was going to go, something entirely different happened. This is truly the book's forte; by the end I felt like anything could happen, and nobody was safe. At the same time, particularly in the beginning of the story the dramatic moments could have been milked even more - as it was I thought some moments with a lot of potential didn't quite get the firepower they merited. I had no such complaints by the end of the book, however - I must admit that parts of the final chapters actually had me in tears. If you are in want of a mystery but still want a light read, you should give this new release a try.

I enjoyed the relationships between characters the most. It was like you were there with them, experiencing what they were experiencing. Allison has a way of developing her characters in a way that you both grieve and rejoice with them. Pretty cool! Fabulous job on her debut novel.

I'm usually a plot-oriented guy, but I appreciated the characters in this book. They were well-developed and fun. The pacing is perfect, and the book had two plot twists that totally surprised me.

This book is basically a Prep review book which includes study guide and practice test questions for ETS's GRE Chemistry subject test. Each section in this book has comprehensive reviews which aids in better understanding. This book also provides tips and techniques, and test-taking strategies to help avoid common silly mistakes because in GRE, every point counts! This contains 100 pages of GRE Chemistry prep material. The material inside the book is well-laid out. It lacks graphics but the text is beautifully laid out and is reader-friendly. I enjoy reading the book more even if it lacks graphics/pictures. It contains all the basic information such as Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Model Theories and Structures. There are many example and problems following definitions and explanation of terms or concepts which is what I like the most of this book. This book also has a 85-questions practice test followed by another sections with answers and explanations at the end! It is very well-written. However, I would not suggest to use only this one book for ETS's GRE Chemistry subject test preparation. You should refer more books to prepare well.
