The images are gorgeous and there is a great variety of garden themed drawings including trees, flowers, birds, bugs, squirrels and much more!Some images are more intricate than others, but on the whole I think there is a decent balance between simpler and more complicated designs.If you like lots of highly intricate designs then this book may not be the best choice, but personally I'm quite happy to colour in not particularly intricate illustrations. There is enough of a variety of simple to more complex designs to keep me happily occupied for hours.I find this colouring book very relaxing and enjoyable and it is a great antidote to a tough day.I think paper quality is actually pretty good considering the price, though I would prefer it to be slightly thicker. I always prefer nicer paper as it makes the colouring experience more enjoyable and I end up a bit more satisfied with the results.However, each image is on a single page so there is no risk of ruining another image. I am only using colouring pencils in this book with some gel pens added into the mix too, and they both work very well.If you want to use felt tips or fine liners I would suggest placing a sheet of paper in between the images when colouring, just in case.Overall I would definitely recommend Secret Garden to anyone looking for lovely drawings to colour.

Printed 1 per page By Jackie Cooper This book is filled with 41 original illustrations filled with Flowers as the focal point of each. Each has a hand drawn art style, you will find floral patterns, Flowers in vases, surrounding a watering can, a bird bath with birds, surrounding a well, in a basket, and many more. Flower lovers will love this book.The cover picture is included in this book but is only representative of a few of the pictures, most are floral patterns and flower bouquets, but all are in the hand drawn style.1. 41 full page illustrations printed one per page (the back of each page is blank) on medium weight bright white paper.2. All markers and some Gel pens leak through this paper, I just place a sheet of paper under the page I am coloring to prevent damage to the next page when I use these.3. When I use colored pencils, I place my clip board under the page I am coloring to prevent indentations on the next few pages.4. I am adding pictures to help you decide if this book is just right for you.Received a free sample for evaluation and unbiased review.

A sensible way to de-stress By Grady Harp Link Coloring has published a number of adult coloring books that are becoming very popular among adults who wish to have quiet time with their thoughts and focus on beauty instead of responding to the chaos around them. In many forms of images these well-constructed coloring books can match any mood that appeals.This particular book – SECRET GARDEN – is rich in images that relate to gardens, to flowers, and to the creatures who inhabit them. Trees with blossoms, individual flowers, butterflies, lattice work with entwining flowers - all in variations and degrees of difficulty to execute into colorful alternatives to the well drawn black and white images.The concept may seem far-fetched - especially to those married mentally to the social media as the exit route from the routine of life. But try spend time and concentration of coloring and recall the tranquility we knew as children confronting a design pleading to be made colorful. This is a very calm and relaxing mode of meditation.
