An intriguing novel depicting the medieval times in Europe with a trio of Francois, Artois and Olivia who come back to France after a Seventh Crusade that goes wrong. The dangers were persistent and I enjoyed the suspenseful and action packed storytelling. Crusaders were heroically depicted in the battles, and I liked the fantasy scenery and characters that have been really well envisioned. Great addition to the genre, highly recommended.
