A Formula That Works By Filip Galetic As someone who's been into fitness and nutrition for over 10 years, I can personally attest this book has all the right information without the BS. Petrina comes off as someone who lives and breathes fitness and eating healthy, and her personality shines through in the text. Her matter of fact style is a breath of fresh air in the fluffy genre of fitness nutrition, believe me. Even though I knew most of these things, I will be using this book as a reminder of how to "program" my mindset and keep on track. As Petrina so nicely puts it, it's all about the moving finish lines!

I know I need to lose some weight and I know there's no magic pill or easy shortcut, and that makes it really hard to find motivation. This book gives you solid advice and lots of motivation that while losing weight won't be super easy, you can totally do it. It walks you through everything from meal planning and cooking, food journaling, and even helps you set realistic goals that will help you succeed by not setting you up for failure.At all times it has this real "we're in it together" feel and it's clear Petrina Hamm really gets what it's like to be staring at that scale and wondering how you're going to get that number down without living on carrots for the rest of your life. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to shed pounds in a healthy way by making serious lifestyle changes.
