She has one story that she tells two different ways: the first is the traditional (no sex) and the second is the after dark version (lots and lots of sex). I, of course, have only read her traditional books and she writes those so well, I can’t imagine where sex would figure in (and I'm not about to go find out!).This is actually the third story tied into the same series. Its not necessarily a series you have to read in order but I imagine it will help in keeping the friendships in order and clear. I know I have the other two to read and I am very much looking forward to getting to them. This is a well written novel with great characters.Definitely a favorite for me

By Joanne Smythe I loved The Secret Bluestocking, in which we first meet Letitia, the heroine of The Honest Deception. At the end of that book, I really hoped that there would be a sequel telling Letitia's story, and this does not disappoint. We learn at the opening that Letty's dreadful husband, Lord Morgan has died, to no one's sorrow. However, he has left her impoverished, and she must live in reduced circumstances in order to pay off his debts. The Marquess of Eynsford, who was charmed by her before she married, longs to renew the acquaintance, but she refuses to go out in society, or interact with gentlemen of fashion. He resorts to a disguise in order to meet with her, and the story of their growing friendship, her alienation when she learns of his deceit, and their eventual reconciliation, along with Letitia recovering her own personal strength in the face of many challenges is very satisfying. This traditional sweet romance will delight readers who enjoy the story of a woman reclaiming her life, and well as finding the love of it.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A nice read By Janet Patterson Good for bedtime reading. I prefer traditional regency romances to the sexy ones. If I want to read porn I'll buy porn, no need to clutter up a good story with it.
