Adams ~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~This is Maddox and Hawke’s story, we met them briefly in the first book and I fell for Hawke and couldn’t wait to get the scoop on him! Maddox has been playing games with Hawke and he knew that eventually Hawke would get tired of it. Little did Maddox know that when Hawke got tired he went all out to prove that he was fed up and done with the games. I loved this book and I liked how it was longer than the first book. We learn what Maddox has been through, we meet up with the twins again and learn more about them and we of course get to see the story of Maddox and Hawke. This is by far my favorite in the series so far, can’t wait to see who is up next!Characters: The characters were well written and believable.Sex: yesReligious: noWould I recommend to others: yesMore than one book in the series: yesGenre: M/M/RomanceWould I read more by this author: yes~Wicked Reads Review Team~

Hawke and Maddox By Booklover Mary received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.When Maddox realizes that Hawke meant what he said, that he was done, it hit him like a ton of bricks. It didn't matter that Maddox had been pushing him away for the better part of six months, it still came as a surprise that the one person that he had unwittingly came to count on, walked away.Hawke had to leave. Tired of not being not only good enough, but anything to Maddox, Hawke decides to move on and cut all strings to the man who holds his heart. He moves, changes his number and quits hanging out at his old haunts. He's determined to find someone who will treat him as though he is enough.Take a chance, open the book and see what secrets both Maddox and Hawke are hiding beneath their stony facades. My only gripe... not long enough and book 3 isn't already on the shelf.

By Amanda Dalton *Independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock*5 glorious fangs..I've come way out of my 'norm' reading and it's nothing for me to pickup a M/M or F/F based book these days. If you think that you can't have anything in common with a gay couple, you are so wrong. Their struggles and achievements are the same as anyone else's. Maddox and Hawke's struggles are something that I think we all can relate to. Hawke is fed up with the way that Maddox is treating him. It's not that he's ashamed of being gay, it's more of he feels like Maddox is using him. Hawke feels that Maddox is stringing him along and only shows him affection when he wants it and pushing him aside when he doesn't. If Hawke was just out playing the field it would be different, but Hawke has found that he loves Maddox. He's tired and decides that only way to quit Maddox is to leave him completely alone. He changes his number, packs up and moves away from Maddox. It's not until then that Maddox realizes that he loves Hawke, but he wasn't sure if he could trust him completely and now he thinks he's shot his one chance at true happiness. Can he fix this with the help of his band-members or will it make things even worse?
