3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. I really enjoyed this book By Terri I really enjoyed this book! I'm giving it only 4 stars though because of the ending. There was just too many things left unresolved. Perhaps there is another one coming which will answer the questions I still have. I'm definitely hoping so.Spoilers......Examples of things left unresolved...1. What happens in the championship game? I hated the book ended before the game.2. Who is the guy in the green army coat?3. Does Terry ever get his comeuppance?4. What happens with Paul? Do more boys come forward?I did love the characters and I really loved their relationship! Good job!

However, in my opinion this book suffers from a lack of focus. I have entitled this review "And the Kitchen Sink" because there is just too much happening without enough development or follow through to come together coherently.

There was just too much going on, and yet it just kept circling around the same issues.I liked the relationship and how Irus fought for Jacks.Aunt Bertula is one of the best characters ever2.5 stars
