By grammy1 Jamal “Jet” Gorman is no stranger to us fans of Altered States, which is where this newest Pulp Friction 2015 was born from. Tom Webb and Laura Harner began that series with a new paranormal premise and the idea took off.Most paranormal authors had their stories set up that always had ‘things that go bump in the night’ hidden from the humans. These two authors and their out of the box idea has changed things up; when a supposedly deceased police officer sat up in his casket in the middle of the Chief of Police’s eulogy, quite alive. This was the beginning of the change in the world when the human race found out vampires, weres, ghosts, and the things that go bump in the night were not stories but very real.Pulp Friction 2015 takes place in the Big Easy, where all of this began. Jet was the Beta to his were pack. His friend, mentor and lover Russ Evans was the Alpha. Laura has chosen to continue Jet’s story and I couldn’t be happier. We see Jet is still in the throes of loss, after Russ was murdered by the Master Vampire Henri du Champ for his own agenda. Jet has to go on as the Alpha, and du Champ has other ideas.The newest added to our cast of players is Nico…..Nico just the name on your tongue exudes sex and sexy this 500 year old vampire is….The die is cast, will the new Alpha keep his pack…..and the infernal Laura Harner cliffy is there again, burning bright jusssst when you have to know more…Stunning beginning…….Review by Gloria LakritzReview Chair for the Paranormal Romance Review Team

Incredibly successful weaving of the Altered States series with the Pulp Friction 2015 series By Becky C Jet is one of my favorite characters from the Altered States series. When his beloved Alpha Russ was killed, Jet had to step up to assume the alphaship of the New Orleans pack. This was not an easy task with the loose alliances among the pack and the young weres out in the bayous. Help arrives unexpectedly in the form of Nicolino, a 500 year old European vampire assassin who has joined the American coalition called the Odd Squad.Henri du Champ is a 300 year old vampire with political aspirations beginning in Louisiana but extending beyond to the United States and perhaps even farther. Henri is no fan of Jet.Many of the characters we've already met in Pulp Friction 2015 are present in Diamonds & Dust, including one of my favorites, the incubus Laurant.Can Jet pull the scattered were pack together in time to not only protect the members but to save Jet's own life? Remember that no character is exempt from expulsion or death in this series. Will Nico become Jet's lover and perhaps his mate? Nothing is set in stone, and very little is clear in the early stages of Pulp Friction 2015.I can hardly wait for the second round of stories. 2015 promises to be one of the most thrilling Pulp Friction series yet.

Jet is facing the defection of many of the younger wolves to promises from the Master, vampire Henri Du Champ. Henri's political ambition knows no bounds, but Jet is a road block that Henri needs to removed.An unexpected ally for Jet, shows up to work for the Odd Squad, Nicolino Sanzio da Urbino, undead assassin for the Council. There is an undeniable attraction between Jet and Nico. Unfortunately, their attraction has to take a backseat to all that is going on in NOLA.The first round of Pulp Friction 2015, is like an athlete on steroids. Pumped up and blowing this reader away.
