Cutting edge timely knowledge of the intelligence of the heart in the new chapter By Sarah Rose The original book was The Turning Point, leading the way through all the challenges that we face at this time of great change. You may or may not have read Braden's former book. In either instance, the new chapter offers insights far too valuable to miss. They are indeed timely. Braden includes research on the intelligence of the heart, from scientific to religious. The author raises the question- which organ runs the body - the brain or the heart?I was enthralled to read that the heart has specialised neurons called sensory neurites that have their own communication network inside the heart itself! They perform similar functions that occur in the brain. Scientists have called this the little brain or heart brain. The heart monitors body hormones and chemicals, converting (translating) such into electrical language, so as to be interpreted by the brain. Examples include modifying levels of adrenaline. This is extended throughout all organs in the body. This includes deep intuition and precognitive abilities. The heart thinks, learns, remembers and senses inner and outer worlds independently of the brain.Braden describes how sporadic intuition can change to everyday occurences through heart to brain coherence. This occurs at 0.10 Hertz, thus unheard by the human ear, but within range of Whales.Coherence assists everything, as a foundation for our life.Braden takes us through his decision making processes he used as a young boy, and how logic did not help arrive at ideal solutions. As we have filters based on perspective, self-worth and self-esteem how can we possibly be 100% clear? He also describes circular reasoning, which supports answers merely by restating. I have used such reasoning at times, and it often fellapart in the light of new information that I did not have access to at that time. In other words we talk ourselves into or out ofthings, we self-support (just in order to arrive at a conclusion - right or wrong). I'm sure we do this just to put our monkey mind at rest! The Lakota Sioux call this chante ista or the single eye of the heart.Using the heart as our guide, we are not slowed down through past filters. We arrive at the truth earlier and fresher! This avoids pros and cons or trying to conclude if the past will repeat - type of reasoning. Braden shares that rather than thinking in absolutes and black and white decisions, we can be informed on different levels, by different experiences, when it comes to being in the world and our decisions in life. Intuition is not the same as instinct, which is based on the past. Intuition relates to the present moment, bypassing unneeded data. As you might imagine, it's much faster! Braden found such to be clear, directand accurate. Second guessing is removed from the equation. The author uses heart-brain coherence wisdom sometimes daily, to plan his day, temper relationships and honour his principles when tested.Gregg Braden advises how your truth may not be true for someone else, so use discernment prior to sharing such, considering how it may affect their experience. Next, he provides an exercise to access the heart's coherence. Interestingly, I was surprised to discover I had been following the third step naturally for years. This involves feeling a rejuvenating feeling (suggestions are provided).

Some Answers to our Fears and Uncertainties: Developing Resilience for the Phenomenal Changes coming to Humanity and the Earth By Marcella Womack A book FOR OUR TIME. Braden has proven over the years that he has used his skills to explore many areas and has come up with new information, supplementary information, and leaps of insight that have helped those who connect with him see a LARGER world. He has an inquiring mind that seems lead by Spirit to explore and uncover information that is NEEDED in the world to help us see where humanity has erred in its assessment of meaning/importance/"the truth." His use of various scientific approaches are explained so that the lay person can understand and describes the NEW FINDINGS in a way that readers "get it." This new book is phenomenal in that he lays out what science has discovered over these last 20 years information about the function of the HEART and how it operates. Most importantly, how the heart REGISTERS "knowing" and "gives information" much like our brain, yet much more connected with feelings and spiritual impulses. His writing leads the reader to explore within themselves much of what he is describing is possible. He goes on to talk about the changes in our world that IS GOING TO REQUIRE A SPECIAL RESILIENCE as the Earth and Humanity are entering a time of phenomenal CHANGES. Yet his hopefulness that this information comes just in the nick of time, encourages the reader to step back and re-think what will be required if we as a humanity are to move forward into a BETTER and more HUMANE world.
