I love the Andi character and find it refreshing to read about a person who is not exactly "young" as a smart, capable and enterprising individual with a lot of life left to live. The author's development of the characters was such that I could picture them clearly. I would describe the book as a lighthearted murder mystery which sounds contradictory I know! Let's just say that there are certain parts that made me chuckle. I have read all the Ivy books by Lorena McCourtney and loved them all. If you liked that series, then I'm pretty sure you will like this one too.

Her characters usually include a strong woman. Well developed characters and mystery. Keeps you reading to find out where it all goes. An inherited limousine, a downsizing out of a job, a younger boyfriend who has decided to move on. Then a body in the trunk of the Limo. And the story moves on with twists and turns to a good ending. You won't regret trying out a Lorena McCourtney book. Also love her Ivy Malone series!

I originally purchased the second book in this series and realized part way in that I needed to start from square one. Andi is a darling character that I can totally relate with age wise. She picks up her boot straps and takes on the world with her newly bequeathed limo. Her relationship with her tenant and a nosey "soon to be" boyfriend warmed my heart. Lorena has such a way with her story lines, I just hate for her books to end!
