23 of 26 people found the following review helpful. Plot twists galore! By Vilhelmina The Fourth Descendant is a fast-paced, creative mystery story. It picks up quickly, although in the very first chapters of the book there is some repetition of similar events as the four protagonists are introduced. This part could have been edited down. Once the introductions are over with the plot twists enter the picture; and there are a lot of them! Every time I thought I had figured the author's mind out and could guess where the story was going to go, something entirely different happened. This is truly the book's forte; by the end I felt like anything could happen, and nobody was safe. At the same time, particularly in the beginning of the story the dramatic moments could have been milked even more - as it was I thought some moments with a lot of potential didn't quite get the firepower they merited. I had no such complaints by the end of the book, however - I must admit that parts of the final chapters actually had me in tears. If you are in want of a mystery but still want a light read, you should give this new release a try.

I enjoyed the relationships between characters the most. It was like you were there with them, experiencing what they were experiencing. Allison has a way of developing her characters in a way that you both grieve and rejoice with them. Pretty cool! Fabulous job on her debut novel.

I'm usually a plot-oriented guy, but I appreciated the characters in this book. They were well-developed and fun. The pacing is perfect, and the book had two plot twists that totally surprised me.

By Alpha101 This book is good to refer for someone who is preparing for ETS's GRE Chemistry subject test. This book is basically a Prep review book which includes study guide and practice test questions for ETS's GRE Chemistry subject test. Each section in this book has comprehensive reviews which aids in better understanding. This book also provides tips and techniques, and test-taking strategies to help avoid common silly mistakes because in GRE, every point counts! This contains 100 pages of GRE Chemistry prep material. The material inside the book is well-laid out. It lacks graphics but the text is beautifully laid out and is reader-friendly. I enjoy reading the book more even if it lacks graphics/pictures. It contains all the basic information such as Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Model Theories and Structures. There are many example and problems following definitions and explanation of terms or concepts which is what I like the most of this book. This book also has a 85-questions practice test followed by another sections with answers and explanations at the end! It is very well-written. However, I would not suggest to use only this one book for ETS's GRE Chemistry subject test preparation. You should refer more books to prepare well. But I thought that sickER Bastards did a pretty good job of wrapping this highly disturbing series up. So you can imagine my surprise when I found out about this third and thankfully shortest addition.sickEST Bastards picks up right where sickER leaves off. Brother is now at his original home with his real parents. Now he finds himself in a situation I don’t think he ever dreamed of. Having killed is real father, he is now the man of the house and decides to become the partner to his real mother. Yes. In all ways. Especially in the perverted ways.What I liked most about sickEST is that the whole story is told from his mothers perspective. Letting us in an all of the thoughts and horrors going on within her mind. Wrestling with what has just happened in her life. Finding that all her son seems to care about is eating flesh and extreme insetual assult for his own pleasure.Being only 51 mins long it is hard to say more than this without giving everything away. I find myself wondering who is really the sickEST person here. Matt Shaw for imagining and writing all of this down, Chris Barnes for speaking it out loud or myself for willingly allowing myself to be subjected to the most horrific and perverted stories in existence. You be the judge.I will say that sickEST is an iron clad finale to this series of total wrongness, or maybe it simply starts the entire circle of perversion all over again.I have sang many praises over pretty much every performance by Chris Barnes. His performance here is no different. I knew to expect a phenomenal listening adventure with him and the helm. I will always expect this until I am disappointed and I do not ever see that happening.Just because I have agreed to review books that might question my character. By Billy Darnell From the day their parents got married Chloe has had a crush on Ryker, but they are exact opposites, him the jock and her the book geek and to her disappointment he doesn’t return her feelings for her, until there’s a blow-up during one of his infamous house parties. Despite his interest in her he refuses to act on it. Fast forward three years and she’s moving to Boston to attend college. Not having seen her in close to a year Ryker is shocked to see how she’s changed. She’s no longer a meek little nerd, but a woman who knows what she wants, and what she wants is her sexy cop stepbrother. There is some conflict as they attempt to ignore their attraction for each other, but keeping them from coming together is impossible. This was a fun, sexy read and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Super Hot By Keen This a kindle melting taboo story between stepsiblings Chloe and Ryker. Chloe is heading to college at Cambridge and since Ryker is living in Boston he offers to let her stay with him an in small two bedroom apartment. The result is explosive as the two find living under the same roof fighting off the intense attraction they feel for each other. The sex scenes are incredible, they were the best part of the book TBH and Ryker is a master at the taboo dirty talk. This is a scorching hot win for Terry Towers.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. a sassy heroine By J. Lemay I loved the heroine in this story, she kept Ryker on his toes the entire way through with her teasing and quick wit. But that’s not to say Ryker couldn’t hold his own, because he could. It made their banter very entertaining to read. In addition to the fun dialogue, they had insane chemistry. The scene where they fought over the remote control, it’s much sexier than it sounds when you read it. All in all I loved this story.

ACCUSED ABUSED NOT TRUSTED LOVE WINS OUT By Dorothy Hendrickson How tragic for Maxwell to have to serve time for the murder of his parents and to be so viciously attacked so many times while in prison. It is by the Grace of God that Bulky John came into his life and believed in him to the point of giving him a place to live. He finds love and she believes in him too. Now her parents want for her to marry an Amish young man because they do not want to give Maxwell the benefit of doubt that he is innocent. They are supposed to be forgiving people but don't seem to want to act on it in their daughters choice of a man she falls in love with. You must read this book and I hope my gut feeling about Maxwell's brother is wrong.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Mistaken Identity By Linda Knott This is a good mystery - romance. A great "who done it". As for the romance part of the story, it is a good romance. However, the girl's father is very prejudiced against the lad she loves concerning his past. Her father is not willing to listen to him or to anyone who speaks on his behalf.Looking forward to the next book in this series. I think it is definitely worth reading.
