2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Short and sweet By Terri Tierney This story had a little bit of everything in it. Sex, violence, love, jealousy, even a jail sentence. But the surprise was the happily-ever-after that sneaks right up on you. I didn't see that coming.

Barely any character development at all. The first 3 chapters & half of Chap. 4 are told from Davey’s, one of the MCs, POV. Then switches to 3rd person. Switches back to Davey’s at the end of Chap. 5, the last chapter. Contains a rape and 2 attempted murders, which is a lot for less than 100 pages. While I had a bit of an issue with the rape scene, I had a little more issue with Davey issuing the command “get ‘em” from his hospital bed like he was siccing a rabid dog on someone. Why would you tell someone to risk their own safety and freedom, when there was no guarantee that Bobby wouldn’t get hurt himself or that he wouldn’t do some serious prison time? And that Bobby would carry it out, in public, without so much as a second thought. And he basically got a slap on the wrist! But of course, nothing bad couldt happen to the hero of the story, because there had to be at least a semi-HEA ending.Not the absolute worst I’ve read, it was tolerable for a quickie. No romance or sweetness, except for hand holding on the last page. By the way, and this is just my opinion, the guy on the cover does not look like a college student, so it threw me off when I read the story. He looks like the 36 year old college dean.
