From its very first frame, the Star Wars series created a compelling universe with complex characters and engaging storytelling. In advance of the highly anticipated new movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this collection offers a fascinating psychological analysis of every aspect of George Lucas's richly rendered galaxy. Expert contributors led by Travis Langley ( Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight; The Walking Dead Psychology: Psych of the Living Dead) examine such topics as family ties, gender, prejudice, values, villainy, and heroism itself, including a look at how psychoanalysis and archetypes directly shaped the original trilogy. They shine a light into the hidden part of the psyche and reveal the ultimate lesson of Star Wars.  Contributors include : Colt J. Blunt * Jenna Busch * Jim Davies * Frank Gaskill * Donald F. Glut (The Empire Strikes Back) * Jennifer Golbeck * Carrie Goldman * Jonathan Hetterly * Dana Klisanin * Joe Kraemer * Elizabeth A. Review "What's great about the books in the Psych Geeks series, however, is that they are amenable for both casual reading and deeper study alike... A fan of Star Wars, you are? Then check out Star Wars Psychology, you should. And if you're a psychology buff, especially, this is most certainly the Star Wars book you're looking for." - Pop Mythology"...an absorbing read, examining the ideas and core values of why we love Star Wars, encouraging us think about the movies and characters in new and unpredictable ways. There's something for everyone in this fun and fascinating volume, a good addition to any Star Wars fan's bookshelf." - The BiblioSanctum"That's the beauty of this book and Star Wars, it makes you think. I highly recommend this to any Star Wars fan that wants to dig a little deeper into why the characters we've come to know and love act as they do." - The Cantina Cast"...a collection of thought-provoking essays and psychological analyses of the films, including themes of villainy and heroism, gender and family. (Spoiler: the Skywalker family has some serious issues.)" - Kirkus Reviews

From the Author "We are so fortunate to have Dr. Travis Langley and his outstanding contributors' new book, Star Wars Psychology: Dark Side of the Mind. May the Force be with you as you read, learn, and rediscover why you love Star Wars."- Carrie Goldman, from her foreword"When Jung described the dark side of the mind, he referred to the part that is shadowed and hidden deep inside. It might not be evil at all.... While we are certainly not all Jungians, all of us bringing you this book do believe that the hidden, unrevealed part of the human nature is worth exploring. Both the light and dark sides unite in us all."- Dr. Travis Langley, from his introduction

From the Back Cover The Star Wars saga is a sprawling space opera that has captivated fans for decades and continues to inspire a new generation. Evil tyrannical oppression rules this world and heroes must rise to battle the darkness. Psychiatrist Carl Jung and mythologist Joseph Campbell observed that people in every place and time tell tales of heroes who face darkness, win victories, and returned transformed. This archetypal Hero's Journey underlies the Star Wars story and demonstrates the role of psychology in shaping this saga. By exploring psychology, fans can better grasp the motivation and mental states of their favorite characters. What is individuation and how does it embody the tenets of a powerful spiritual organization? How does anxiety disorder explain the transformation of a character's psyche from good to evil and back to good? Can robots feel pain and suffering? How do limb amputation and neuroprosthetics impact the brain? Does music influence our emotional reading of this saga? In 20 chapters from a range of esteemed psychology professionals and The Empire Strikes Back novelist Donald F. Glut, a foreword by Carrie Goldman (author of Bullied: What Every Parent, Teacher, and Kid Needs To Know About Ending the Cycle of Fear), and "Force Files" exploring the "Big Five" personality factors and the characters who embody each major trait set, Star Wars Psychology: Dark Side of the Mind sheds new light for fans of the series and psychology.

It is a very interesting book which raises intriguing questions and draws many lines between Star Wars and psychology. However, for every time I was pleased by this book there are errors that stop it from meeting its potential. Most chapters are independent essays that raise a different question, or examine certain psychological characteristics within the Star Wars universe. Therefore, there is a different author and writing style for each chapter. Some chapters are written excellently. Others, however, are full of mistakes; grammatical mistakes, mislabling of figures and diagrams, and a failure to correctly cite which Star Wars movie is being referred to.This book seemed like a great idea; it combined my interest in psychology with my love of Star Wars. However, it does not appear to be edited very well. Failure to identify simple grammatical and citation errors, in addition to the greater frustration of not properly referencing Star Wars, lead this book not not reach its potential. It is okay, 3 out of 5. Worth about 5 bucks, or worth a read if you get it for free.

Celia Compton is thrilled to be back in Hyacinth where she lived until she was eight. A year of courting to meet her prince sounds lovely, especially when combined with loving discipline. Unfortunately, sometimes reality doesn’t quite meet up with fantasy. The man she wants, Marcus Hotham, seems inclined not to court and yet the more she sees him, the more the rest of the guys just don’t measure up. As Celia learns more about Hyacinth life and gains friendships for the first time in over a decade, it becomes more like home. When Marcus finally asks to court her, his four-year-old daughter Vanna in tow, she’s thrilled. Everything is perfect, until her mother, who hates discipline and Hyacinth, comes to town and finds out about Marcus. Now, with the possibility of being ripped from the arms of the man she loves, Celia finds herself floundering with how to explain things. When decisions are made and everything comes to light, she just might find that sometimes reality is so much better than fantasy. About the series "In Hyacinth" by Bree Cariad: Hyacinth, Washington is all about old-fashioned values. In Hyacinth words like trust, honor, and kindness aren't just buzzwords. Hyacinth is a community built on tradition and trust, where men are the head of the home and women are encouraged to follow their lead. Each story in the series is of a young woman (18-20) and her struggle to figure out who she is in this little town while at the same time going through Hyacinth's old-fashioned courting system. On their way to meet, get to know, and finally marry their princes, these heroines grow in ways they and their town never expected.

By Angela S Goodrich I’ve gotta get it out of the way right up front – I was surprised by how judgmental Celie’s grandmother was considering that she was part of the Domestic Discipline lifestyle that Hyacinth was founded on. I totally get her wanting the best for her granddaughter, but to summarily dismiss a man as a potential suitor just because he was a widower and had a child just rubbed me the wrong way. Granted, it gave Celie the opportunity to prove her mettle when it came to following her own path to happiness rather than her grandmother’s when the opportunity to do so arose, which is ultimately what elevated Courted by Experience to a 5-star read for me. But that doesn’t mean I had to like her grandmother’s negativity before she took the time to get to know Marcus and his daughter Vanna.Celie has returned to Hyacinth to spend the year with her grandparents and to enter the courting system now that she is 18 – a fact she has kept from her mother, who was so opposed to the Domestic Discipline lifestyle that she took Celie and left Hyacinth when her husband died in a car accident over a decade ago. Celie’s childhood memories of Hyacinth and her father, as well as her research into Domestic Discipline have left her longing for her very own suitor and head of household. Unfortunately, the first several dinners are a bust despite her grandmother’s preference for the potential suitors. Fortunately for Celie, her grandfather listens to the things she says and accepts a dinner request from Marcus; he also has no problem taking her grandmother in hand when she lets her best intentions run amok.I loved watching Celie get to know Marcus and Vanna, appreciating rather accepting that they were a package deal. Because Courted by Experience is an In Hyacinth book and the courting system is designed to lead to a marriage between the two parties, I don’t think it’s really a spoiler to say how much I loved Marcus’s proposal to Celie at the end, especially the exchange between Celie and Vanna that was so freaking sweet that I teared up. Ms. Cariad has given fans another great addition to the series and I’m looking forward to reading Courted by a Knight later this week.I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

A great addition to the series By Crystal's Many Reviewers I really enjoyed this book because of how different it was, and it did answer a few questions that I had about what courting would be like if the other person had children. Well, I’ll start off by saying that I loved that part of the story! I thought it was great how Ms. Cariad was extremely careful about adding Vanna into the mix, and how important of a role that she played in the whole thing. But I did also like how she made sure to mention that Celia and Marcus were able to have time to just themselves.I also loved Celia’s grandmother. She was just a trip and it was so much fun getting her insight into everything. (I swear even now I wonder how the woman could sit down with how much trouble she got into!)Now, even though I did love certain parts of the story, the reason why I was only able to rate it at 4 stars is because, to be quite honest, Marcus came out of nowhere. While yes, it was obvious that Celia was interested in him, there was no hint at all that he felt the same way as her. So it was quite a big shock when he showed up.But overall, I did still enjoy the story and I can’t wait for the next in the series!Reviewed by Crystal Marie for Crystal’s Many Reviewers*Copy provided for review*

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This is another great addition to the Hyacinth Series By DKT This is another great addition to the Hyacinth Series. Although each story can be stand alone, the author manages to include past and future characters into each story. The small community of Hyacinth is founded on old fashioned values, DD marriages, and a strict courting system. Celia Compton was taken away from Hyacinth at the age of 8, after her father suddenly died. Her grandparents finally comes back to live with her grandparents in Hyacinth. Celia is intrigued by the old fashioned values and courting system. Dr. Marcus Hotham and his young daughter Vanna have also recently moved to Hyacinth. Although they both are attracted to each other it takes a while for Marcus to make his move to court young Celia. Celia has to deal with her mother who doesn’t believe in the values of Hyacinth and her grandmother who wants to control who Celia ends up with. Luckily Celia has her grandfather who has to continually remind his wife who is the head of the household with a little DD to reinforce it.

Always Her (Lesbian Romance), by Alexandra Delancey

Review "Ms. Delancey has managed to carefully craft a magnificent novella; she's combined a work of unrequited love from the past, a story of coming of age to some extent, certainly not just another coming out saga. This to me is a good old-fashioned love story between the two main characters and in spite of their prior experience, each it seems has managed to remain so pure of heart. For each of them life has yielded itself to have brought each of them to the necessary moment in time. I have myself used multiple first-person POV telling of tales, and can honestly say that this one delivers whole and sum!  Bravo!" - Amazon customer

By Barbara Thompson Ms. Delancey has managed to carefully craft a magnificent novella, Always Her. She's combined a work of unrequited love from the past, a story of coming of age to some extent, and lastly certainly not just another coming out saga. This to me is a good old-fashioned love story between the two main characters and in spite of their prior experience, each it seems has managed to remain so pure of heart. For each of them life has taken its necessary course, until in this moment, everything is lined up for the marvelous story that life can be. I have myself used multiple first-person POV telling of tales, and can honestly say that this one delivers whole and sum! Bravo!HollyAnne Weaver

The characters, Jack and Elise tell their own story in alternating chapters. I really like the way and point of view the story is written. The characters have depth and you want to go into bat for them, to get them on the right path (to each other)! A great coming out story.I look forward to reading more from this author.

If you want a great story about coming out, later on in life rather than earlier on, then you need to read this book. The characters are awesomely written and you follow two main characters, one already out with a girlfriend and the other supposedly straight with a boyfriend. It's an easy read, well written with great character interaction and an interesting back story.

I loved the first two books with Pixie and Levi, and Kayla and Daren, but I fell in love with Jenna and Jack in this third book. Talk about the feisty and the fierce, and some serious sexual tension that you can cut with a knife between these two. Oh, and let’s not forget their hilarious bickering. I’ve got to say, Fine blows me away. And as the saying goes, “third time’s the charm,” and boy did Fine live up to that with Jenna and Jack and their hot romance. Fine has given readers two delicious characters with the sexy hottie bad/good boy Jack, and the stubborn, hard headed Jenna. I can only say to Chelsea Fine, "Well Done!" I'm a satisfied reader, and you’ve also given me a steamy, beautiful romance that was definitely swoon worthy.I met Jenna and Jack in Best Kind of Broken (1st book) with Pixie and Levi, so I was ready to see whatever became of their one night stand. These two bada$$es with their beautiful tattooed bodies were just screaming meant to be. But Jenna is one tough girl, and she has no need for the whole romance and falling in love thing. Nope, she has a life planned out for herself, which only includes me, myself and I, and it didn't include any men, and her heart sure wasn't going to fall in love with the tattooed, gray-eyed, over six-foot tall hottie. With his broad muscles, this gorgeous bad boy is also pretty obnoxious, and he only has to say Jenna’s name to cause her total undoing. But Jack already knew he was a done man after that one night with Jenna. The beautiful, wild Jenna that drives him absolutely crazy. This road trip was his hope to win this independent woman's heart. The road trip was either going to get Jack the woman he loves or it was going to destroy him.I hope this isn't the last book in Fine's Finding Fate series, because there are other characters like Drew, Ethan, Samson hopefully with Trixie and even Ellen that I would love to see finding their true loves.I highly recommend Jenna and Jack in the Right Kind of Wrong as an awesome, right kind of read.

Jumping into a series at book #3 had me a bit concerned…but I need not have been! Each story is a stand-alone but they do intersect at one point in time. Within pages of the beginning, I was hooked. The characters (Jenna and Jack) are engaging and likeable in their own way. Though at times I did get a bit tired of Jenna fighting her attraction to Jack…get on with it already girl…you have a hunk of a guy!.Jenna’s ruminations about Jack….makes a girl just want to swoon :)“It’s a manly voice, husky and rough, yet somehow beautiful as it drifts my way and caresses my ears. It’s always been my kryptonite for me, much like his omniscient eyes, and in many ways it’s more powerful than even his hands, which is saying something.”I found the love story gripping. Jack knows and freely admits his love for Jenna, but she is a skittish gal….her vision of her life is to NOT fall in love. She sees that as a sign of weakness, which will only derail her plans for her future. What she obviously does not realize is that love with the right man will enhance her life and plans, not detract. And her grandma (what a character!!!) plans to make sure Jenna figures this out! It is the story of love…but it is so much more.I really enjoyed the storyline of Jack rescuing his younger brother. The trouble Drew got himself caught up in is a classic story of a forgotten son trying to obtain the love and acknowledgement of his father…..no matter how much of a scoundrel that father is…..and trust me….he is a no good so and so! This sub-plot showed the true depth of character of Jack. He would go above and beyond for one of his family members….and he does. It seemed like a no win situation at first, but with clear thinking and a bit of cleverness….well….you will see.A couple notable quotes I enjoyed were in describing love……Jenna truly needed to hear and understand what love was all about. And once she did that…life is good, complete. This first quote I felt tries to explain to Jenna that love, like many things in life are not 100% within one’s control and the sooner we as people embrace the unknown, the richer our lives will be.“Love isn’t an obedient whim. It’s an unruly force. And it answers to no one.”And this quote just seemed to me to seal the deal with Jenna finally realizing she can love and still be the person she is trying so hard to be.“Choosing to love a man, and letting that man love you back, is the most independent thing a girl can do for herself. No independent person is truly successful on their own.”Parts of the story were a bit dragged out and could have been more succinct, but as luck would have it, these parts were not overly long, which is good because any more dragging and I would have lost interest. And I am glad I stuck it out.If you enjoy a bit of steam…okay…a fair amount of steam (whew…) when covering off the main love scene and descriptions of hunky men in a good, solid love story in addition to good old fashioned family values thrown in with mob wars, then take a chance and read this book.*OBS would like to thank the publisher for supplying a free copy of this title in exchange for an honest review*

A lot of readers have that author who is an Insta-buy/Insta-read, Chelsea Fine is that author for me. I love the whole Finding Fate series, but Right Kind of Wrong is definitely my favorite, which is saying a lot because I Love Pix and Levi’s story.Jenna is totally different that most female heroines. She’s beautiful, tatted, has the mouth of a sailor, and is probably the most stubborn female character I have EVER read about. She had a hard childhood, her mother struggled because her father had walked out and was left to raise Jenn on her own. So, Jenna has put this guard around her heart and set a plan for herself so the same situation that happened with her mom and grandma (because her grandma’s husband walked out on her too) never happens to her. Everything seems to be working out just fine until Jack is in the equation.Jack is this sexy sweet guy. When reading this there is no man I could honestly picture playing jack. He is big (like tall and muscular), Tatted up, and just gorgeous. He is hard yet soft. It’s a very sexy combination. Jack moved to Arizona to escape his haunting past back home, but when Jenna is forced to drive back home on her own and trouble has struck Jack’s family he can’t help but to go back to Louisiana, the one place he told himself he never wanted to be again.I had so many feelings when reading this book. I was angry, happy, swooning, smiling like an idiot, and sad. How can A book make you feel so many emotions? I have no idea, but Chelsea Fine can always do it to me. She has a talent for making her characters and stories come to life. There were many times that I felt I was there in this story with Jenna and jack, I actually found myself yelling at Jenna for being so pigheaded. The characters, there is not a single character I dislike besides for one and I’m not saying who that is (it might be too spoilery). Even the bad guys were likable. Yeah, they were bad guys, but I never felt myself cringing or having dislike for them. Jenna’s family was big, sweet, warm, and welcoming. And her Grandma don’t even get me started on her superstitious grandma. She was a riot. Jack’s family was nice too, they weren’t the same kind of warm as Jenna’s family, probably because of the hard past they went through, but they were still very nice and welcoming. You just get good but different vibes from both families. Very refreshing.I can gush forever about this book but I feel you totally have to experience it all for yourself. This book is part of a series but can also be read as a standalone.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Not an accurate list By Amazon Customer This is a simple list of Karin Slaughters books but it is grossly inaccurate. Some of the series are mixed and the order within the series is incorrect.Just go to Karin Slaughters website or on Amazon and list in order of series or publication date. This was more than a waste of 99cents, I purchased and read a book out of order because I assumed the list was correct.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Just what I needed. By Ruby Tuesday I love all of Karin Slaughter's books. Over time I have had a hard time getting the order they were released. I have found different information. Finally an easy source of information.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Helpful I guess By Raeven This helps me out but I wish there was a short summary on rack book and character list to show who continues in each book. Kay Hooper had an excellent one at the end of a book I believe. That one made me remember or sort in my mind the progression of each character. This list of books was as described ~ a 1 page list of titles. It will help for rereading / revisiting older books.

Can Anna Mae heed God’s call on her life, even if it means leaving behind everything she knows . . . and everyone she loves?

Ever since Anna Mae’s childhood friend Jeremiah left their Amish community, she’s questioned her own place in the Amish world. The Amish life feels as if it’s closing in on her, and with her mother trying to set her up with potential suitors, Anna Mae feels trapped in a life she’s not sure she wants anymore.

But she’s never told anyone that she longs for a tiny taste of freedom—freedom that could be very costly.

When Jeremiah suddenly reappears in Middlefield to help his mentor, Yankee veterinarian Dr. Miller, new questions surface for Anna Mae, along with feelings she’d never fully acknowledged before.

As Anna Mae and Jeremiah rekindle their friendship, old feelings take on new meaning. Yet the question still lingers: What is God’s plan for her life?

Should she stay, remaining loyal to her Amish family, or does God have a bigger plan—one that provides more freedom than she could imagine?

The answers do not come easily, and God’s plan may lead in different directions . . . for both of Anna Mae and Jeremiah.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A Great Read! By Karla Hanns Excitement reigned in my home last week, when a courier truck pulled into the driveway!! The dog barked, I squealed !! I had been waiting for a book by a favorite author and knew it was on its way. It had finally arrived. The wait was over, and the reading could begin!! Kathleen Fuller has been a favorite author for some time and I was thrilled to be able to review her newest book from her Middlefield collection. As Amish Fiction is a genre that I love, this book compelled me to read and read and read! Once I started, I was hooked! I could not put this book down. As the day wore on, the world passed me by. I was in the small Amish community with Anna Mae!Anna Mae, the main character in the book, has a life changing decision to make! It is one that will affect her future forever, one that is confusing, difficult and extremely emotional. "Can Anna Mae heed God's call on her life, even if it means leaving behind everything she knows... and everyone she loves?" Jeremiah, Anna Mae's childhood friend, had left their Amish community some time ago. This event left her questioning her own role in the Amish world. This rather strict Amish lifestyle has caused her to feel as if it is closing in on her. To complicate matters, Anna Mae's mother is attempting to set her up with potential suitors. This young lady feels trapped within a life that she is not sure she wants to remain. She has kept her desires for freedom a secret! This freedom could be very costly!!Out of the blue, Jeremiah reappears in Middlefield to help his former mentor, a Yankee vet, Dr. Miller, causing more confusion for Anna Mae. Added to this, are some feelings that she had never before acknowledged.Jeremiah and Anna Mae rekindle their friendship, however a new complication arises. There are more intense feelings than ever before! Now, this has caused her more confusion!! What is God's plan for her life?? Should she stay and remain with her Amish family or does God have something bigger planned for her life?? A life with more freedom than Anna Mae had ever imagined!! What a dilemma for a young Amish girl who had always been protected and lived a rather secluded life!Kathleen does a fantastic job of capturing the reader's attention on the very first page of the book. You quickly become part of the story. The characters are so believable and realistic, that their every feeling, challenge, and heartache , as well as joy, is felt within you. Anna Mae's pull to the English world is so very real. Her desire to experience more than her sheltered life is evident as the plot progresses. Kathleen writes with a complete and accurate understanding of the Amish culture. Her complex characters change as they grow in their relationship and make their decisions. The importance of family and forgiveness is developed throughout the book. Faith is so important to making those decisions we all encounter as we grow up.The plot develops quickly, with just enough unexpected twists and turns to capture and keep one's attention until that very last page. The complications between Anna Mae, Jeremiah, their families and the community kept me thinking and guessing as I continued to read. Would Anna Mae listen to the quiet voice of God to help her make life changing decisions? Would she allow God's plan to be carried out in her life? This is a book that will make you think! The Amish young people have decisions to make that are very different from most of us, however, they encounter problems just as you and I do. Should we follow our faith or our tradition???This is a fantastic read!! A five star book. This book was supplied by the author and publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.

When I want to read a book that makes me feel good by the time I'm finished, I go for an Amish story. Kathleen Fuller is one of those authors who has perfected this particular genre. She doesn't explain what each Deitsch (Pennsylvania Dutch, coming from German) word means throughout the text, but rather gives you a glossary at the beginning. I like that because it makes the story flow better for me. A Faith of Her Own is a story about a certain young man, Jeremiah, who left the Amish community to become a veterinarian. He comes back to his hometown in order to fill in for the local vet - the one who gave him his start - after the man broke his leg. Anna Mae is a childhood friend of Jeremiah's. She has been getting more and more restless since Jeremiah left. Somehow she has to figure out what it is that is causing her distress. As Anna Mae and Jeremiah get to know one another again, a volume of questions and decisions to be made assault them. Ultimately, it is God's plan that will win.As a I said before, Kathleen Fuller is a master when it comes to writing Amish stories. This one does not disappoint. I loved the sweetness of the story. The plot is solid and each word builds up to the climax wonderfully. And at the end, I had that deep sigh instant when I knew I'd read something that gave me that feel good moment that I love to have.Religion is brought up in this book. It has to be, because religion plays a significant part in the lives of the Amish. I love how the love of God does not come across as a preaching but as an integral part of everyday life. That is how it should be in every believer's life. Is it in yours? As an aside, I came across an interesting website this morning that easily answers some questions people might have about the Amish. You might want to check it out here.*I received A Faith of Her Own in exchange for my honest opinion. My opinion is my own.*

By Tina Watson Have you ever asked this question after graduating high school or maybe college "What am I to do now?" or "Where do I want to be in 5, 10 years from now?" or "Is this the right path for me?" I can go on and on with the questions, but I think you get the idea. In A Faith of Her Own the characters are asking these same questions to themselves while also healing wounds from their past to move on with future plans.Anna Mae Shetler has been deciding for nine years if her Amish community is where she wants to be? Or does she wants to pursue something outside of the Amish community?Jeremiah Mullet has been gone for nine years from Middlefield's Amish community pursuing a career as a vet. His best friend needs his help. Within a few months, Dr. Miller has a question for Jeremiah. Can Jeremiah heal his past, a wound that he buried deep in his soul, in order to move on with his future?Rebekah Yoder has a passion to ride horses and can her one day decision get her in a hep of trouble. She knows what she wants but will the young man accept her for herself and her faults, too?Caleb Mullet is partners in his brother's horse business working hard to make it successful. Will the truth come out about a purchase Caleb made? Can the pact of "'...we'll always be the best of friends, no matter what. ...Not even work and art will come between us. ...Not even dreams will come between us. ...We promise to always be best friends.'" hold up after nine years after it was made and a lot has happened since it was made?Kathleen Fuller has done it again. She has written another book, that had me on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put it down, even though life said I had to.I loved revisiting Middlefield's Amish community. Revisiting children main characters from Mysteries of Middlefield series by Kathleen Fuller that are now adults in this book.IF YOU ARE A NEW READER TO THIS BOOK, A Faith of Her Own, YOU WON'T BE LOST, FOR Kathleen Fuller MAKES SURE YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THEIR YOUNGER YEARS AND CURRENTLY in A Faith of Her Own FOLLOW TOGETHER.YES, I look forward to reading more books by Kathleen Fuller.I received a free copy of this book through NetGalley for an honest review. No money was exchanged. This is my honest review in my own words.

Hot, Sexy & Sinful By Kim Nikolasevic Note: This series should be read in order starting with Broken Pleasure, followed by Forbidden Pleasure before reading His Pleasure.I was given this in exchange for an honest review. This novella is the 2nd novella but 3 part in Jenna and Rylan’s life together and in their past. This particular novella, M.S. Parker gives us Rylan’s history and insight as to how he became closed off and what brought him to make the decide to keep him relationship casual.Rylan was young and in love but coming home planning on asking the woman who he thoughts was the one in bed with another woman through him for a loop. It wasn’t the fact that Lara cheated on him in general. He knew his sister and best friend never approve but Lara was everything he wanted and needed. They shared the same sexual taste and Lara being with him had nothing to do with his quickly growing company. When his sister Suzette insist he goes with her to their parents cabin Rylan didn’t know what she had in store for him. Quite frankly I was shocked and surprise that his sister came up with the idea and had no problem with it either. This book is definitely about his pleasures and how he was able to get to the point to move on from Lara and her betrayal. You definitely get to see how Rylan became talented in bed as this novella is hot, sexy and sinful and I swear I saw steam coming from my iPad as I was reading. If you’re looking for that kind of book, get the series and start at the beginning, you won’t be disappointed.Friends Till The End Book Blog: http://friendstilltheendbookblog.blogspot.ca/

Rylan finds out something important about his girlfriend that breaks them up and sends him away for the weekend. There he experiences pleasure in several different forms. I hadn't read any of the other books in this series but I found this to be a short and sexy read. The scene with the twins was hot, you don't see many of those scenes. Overall entertainment was four stars. This book had an erotic theme with some scenes involving Dom/sub.~Wicked Reads Review Team~
