The female lead was the best and her mission with the religious aspect in it was great. Of course the ISIS terror was what drew my interest in reading the series. Once I started reading it, it was hard to put down, but didn't put it down for long. The ending is fantastic as causes you to search for the next book, which isn't written yet. And after you realize that you hope the next book comes out soon. Fantastic Work....Keep it up please.

A coming of age story about a young man who becomes a lawyer. When Jonathan Seney was 18, an expatriate from Maryland attending Inns of Court in London, his roommates exposed him to the HellFire club as a way of celebration. Daniel Defoe called the club a pagan circle where God was owned, sworn by, imprecated, blasphemed, and denied all in the same breath. What went on in the private rooms of the HellFire stayed in the HellFire. Parliament tried numerous times to shut down the taverns, but never succeeded. Samuel Johnson proclaimed, “The true felicity of human life is a tavern.” It was a cornucopia of good times

Coming of age in 18th Century London By Jim Murtha We meet a prudish, naïve Jonathan Seney in 1769, shortly after he arrives in London from The Colonies to study law. His three house-mates, an artist, a medical student, and an architect, relish the opportunity to introduce him to a bawdy lifestyle of drinking and carousing in the bustling big city, where they encounter loose women and predatory men. Eager to partake in new-found romance, our protagonist places himself in the crosshairs of seedy characters, but his friends come to his aid. We see, hear, and smell London in painstaking detail: dress, architecture, goings-on, manners, and vernacular. When we meet up again with Jonathan, half a year older and far wiser, he partakes in the revelry of a wealthy landowner at a seaside estate. The women are more refined, but nasties lurk about. In the final installment, Jonathan has completed his studies and returned home to practice his profession and seek a wife. There is a single loose end, clearly intentional. A bonus for historians: a 60-item bibliography. From cover to cover, an energetic story, carefully researched and cleverly told.

Morcos Jonathan's Journey is an incredibly well-researched book. But the story is so enthralling you don't notice the research until you get to the end of the book and read the list of references that Roger Paulding used to create this captivating tale of Colonial times in America and England. It was a great read, especially if you like historical fiction.

In The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma, Bessel van der Kolk, MD, explores the ways in which trauma rewires the brain and changes the way people experience the world.

Trauma affects the mind and body immensely and prevents those affected from living in the present. Van der Kolk, who has researched trauma since the 1970s, first became interested in trauma after meeting with Vietnam veterans who had a very hard time living their lives after returning from the war…

Or have you been traumatized and felt you life change forever? In "The Body Keeps Score," Bessel van der Kolk, MD, explores the ways in which trauma rewires the brain and changes the way people experience the world. This review is compelling, breaking down van der Kolk's thesis into 9 key takeaways with analysis into what it all means. With millions affected by traumatic experiences, its imperative for us to better understand the effects of trauma and PTSD.I loved how Instaread analyzed each key takeaway and explored their meaning. The section on how traumatic events create a different kind of memory was especially enlightening. It is scary to think that when you remember a traumatic event, you are virtually reliving the experience.I highly recommend this book to anyone who is directly or indirectly affected by trauma. It is helpful to know what is normal and what isn't. I received a copy of this book in order to review it.

10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. Unfortunately this is a basically useless. It purports to be 32 pages to summarize ... By retrogrouch First understand this is a Cliff notes sort of summary of the book. The book itself is hugely important for those in the trauma field and I was excited to see a "summary" with key takeaways and analysis. Unfortunately this is basically useless. It purports to be 32 pages to summarize a 350 page book. The actual summary part is 20 pages of 24 point type face of which there are many pages half empty to 3/4s empty reducing content by 6 pages. The last 150 pages of the book itself are a powerful analysis of all the many different therapies and when they work and when they don't. Invaluable information. The summary blows all of that off saying "the last section of the book discusses treatment options for trauma. This seems designed for the psychological professional who might use these treatments in their practice with their patients. For a lay reader it is still very interesting but there is a shift in tone and style that maybe difficult to read.". And thus it blows off over a third of the book in two sentences! I was hoping for a lot more meaningful content and analysis. This is so cursory as to be almost meaningless.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A lot of information in a small book By Ivy Reisner This synopsis, while comfortably readable in tone, is extremely dense with information. It serves as an introduction to the field of trauma, its impact, and treatment in its own right and it comes with a respectable list of citations in the back if you feel The Body Keeps the Score is not the book you'd like to move to next.It discusses Dr. Bessel van de Kolk's groundbreaking work on trauma, first in recognizing and defining Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and later Developmental Trauma Disorder (DTD), his drive to have DTD listed in the DSM and his extensive work on researching treatment options. The points of the book this analysis examines are:1. Identifying PTSD allowed research on treatment to begin.2. Trauma creates not just memories but points of flashback.3. Traumatic events crate a cycle of stress, anxiety, and dissociation.4. Trauma short-circuits healthy brain function.5. Trauma affects the body as well as the mind.6. Disfunctional relationships between a child and a primary caregiver can create and predict trauma.7. Drugs and talk therapy, while useful, are limited in their efficacy in the treatment of trauma.8. Trauma treatment needs to be holistic.9. Lack of understanding of DTD restricts treatment options for children. Each point is analyzed, bringing in quotes from the book or other sources. Further, this guide puts forth Dr, Kolk's proposals in broad form. Finally, it discusses the writing style of the book, and what type of audience it suits. This has far more information than would seem reasonable in so small a guide. Highly recommend. I received a sample in exchange for an honest review.

Originally published in 1932 and banned by the Nazis one year later, Blood Brothers follows a gang of young boys bound together by unwritten rules and mutual loyalty.Blood Brothers is the only known novel by German social worker and journalist Ernst Haffner, of whom nearly all traces were lost during the course of World War II. Told in stark, unsparing detail, Haffner’s story delves into the illicit underworld of Berlin on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power, describing how these blood brothers move from one petty crime to the next, spending their nights in underground bars and makeshift hostels, struggling together to survive the harsh realities of gang life, and finding in one another the legitimacy denied them by society.

Blood Brothers, by Ernst Haffner

Review “Haffner’s project is journalistic, to portray destitution and criminality without the false sparkle of glamour—though Berlin is not half as boring as he (coyly) claims. The author was a social worker and a journalist, and his skill in portraiture and the depiction of a social milieu is evident… The characters are engaging, and multidimensional. You care what happens to them.” —The Wall Street Journal“[Haffner] has the eye of a documentarian and a keen interest in particulars…” —The New York Times"Blood Brothers is a remarkable portrait, a lively, heartbreaking close-up, of the scrappy desperate lives of Berlin’s homeless teenage boys in 1932.  It deserves to sit on the shelf next to Christopher Isherwood’s classic I Am A Camera which inspired the stage and film musical Cabaret...When you finish, you’ll be haunted." —The Boston Herald Hollywood & Mine Blog"[W]hat an accomplished book...Haffner’s novel would be compelling enough for the fact that it presents readers with unique insights into daily life during the final days of the Weimar Republic, but it’s his bold insistence on presenting his subject’s lives in such a matter-of-fact way that makes Blood Brothers truly standout as an interesting, valuable piece of unforgettable literature." —Typographical Era"[B]rilliantly translated into English by Michael Hofmann...Blood Brothers shocks because of its relevance to too much of the world we observe around us today." —CounterPunch.org"Blood Brothers remains relevant to us today. [Haffner's] novel remains, salvaged from the wreckage of history, insistent in its message that all our endless, merciless cities—and towns and suburbs and wherever else our desperate lives play out—are too much for anyone on their own." —Words Without Borders"[R]emarkable...Blood Brothers is an enthralling and significant novel, authentic in its gritty documentary detail, dispassionate yet empathic in its characterisation and starkly objective in its portrayal of Berlin’s pre-Nazi social underbelly." —Financial Times“To the small library of classic novels about Berlin before Hitler by the likes of Erich Kästner, Alfred Döblin and Christopher Isherwood we now belatedly welcome Haffner's. Blood Brothers delivers an unflinching yet deeply affecting portrait of life on Berlin's darkest and most desperate streets. Hofmann's translation beautifully captures Haffner's muscular, hardboiled prose.” —Lawrence Douglas, Amherst College, author of The Memory of Judgment and The Vices"The story reveals the illicit, dark and disturbing underworld of Berlin on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power...This is an important and unflinching classic in the making." —Susan Jaffe, Creative Director, Thurber House“Theodor W. Adorno wrote what is perhaps the most powerful essay demystifying the legend of the "Golden Twenties." Ernst Haffner has written the novel. Beautifully.” —Dr. Eric Jarosinski, founding editor, NeinQuarterly“Haffner’s book stands out for its documentary detail. It opens with a description of the hours-long queues at the labor exchange, and paints a vivid picture of the gang’s initiation ceremonies, drinking rituals, and the glorious satisfaction of hot pea soup on an empty stomach. At the same time, Blood Brothers is plot-driven and told in a simple, straightforward, style.” —The Guardian"Like a karate chop: hard and direct, but true." —Der Spiegel"A real discovery." —Literarische Welt

About the Author Ernst Haffner was a journalist and social worker and his only known novel, Blood Brothers, was published to wide acclaim in 1932 before it was banned by the Nazis one year later. In the 1940s, all records of Haffner disappeared. His fate during World War II remains unknown.  Michael Hofmann has translated the work of Franz Kafka, Joseph Roth, Hans Fallada, and many others. Excerpt. © Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved. Jonny needs to dig up his eight fellows from various nooks and crannies to tell them he’s scoped out a cheap billet for the night. Two marks for the whole lot of them. It’s in a warehouse on Brunnenstrasse. For two marks the night-watchman will let them in at ten. But at six o’clock tomorrow morning they’ll have to be on their way again. Straw and large crates you can curl up inside are provided. At half past nine the gang set off. At the stroke of ten, they’re all close to their billet. Three of them are at the gate. The others are waiting nearby in the passage, to nip in as soon as the watchman opens the door. Before they even hear the night-watchman, there’s a furious growling and yapping behind the door: the guard-dog. Then the door is unlocked, and one by one they sneak inside. The watchman locks the door after them. The bitch howls with rage and disappointment. She doesn’t understand her master. Normally she is under orders to go for anyone’s legs, and just now, with this collection of deeply suspicious individuals, she is kept on a short leash. The night-watchman slopes on ahead with the angrily glinting dog. The Blood Brothers bring up the rear after a respectful interval. The door of the low storehouse is unbolted, and Jonny has to put down his two marks. Then the old man goes through all their pockets. He’s looking for matches or lighters. In case one of the scapegraces should get it into his head to smoke in there… With all that straw and dry wood around. That would be a right old firework. The guard dog tried a parting snap at the boys. But the nailed collar reminds her that only non-paying guests were to be shredded. The boys are just finding their way around the dark windowless space when the old man locks them in. The freed dog sniffs crossly at the crack between the floor and the bottom of the door. Just let them try and get out.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. "Betrayal is something that can only be washed clear with blood, and plenty of it." By Mary Whipple At last. A novel recently discovered in Germany but written in 1932, at the end of the Weimar Republic, presents a picture of Berlin as it really was, not as it appears in the sterilized portraits released by Hitler's army and staff beginning a year later, when Hitler officially came to power. Like many other cities recovering from a Depression, Berlin did have its seamy underside, along with the poor, the homeless, the street gangs, and the petty criminals dependent on pickpocketing and small thefts in order to eat. Whole sections of the city were occupied at night by the wandering homeless, including young teens.Ernst Haffner, the journalist who wrote this novel, uses a collection of individualized vignettes, connected by the overriding story of two of the young men, Ludwig and Willi, to show Berlin as it really was. Little is known about Haffner, who, because of his insights into the nature of the lives of the young homeless, might have been a social worker. The book, published in 1932, was well reviewed in Germany for its honesty and its insights, but it was outlawed by Hitler the following year, and virtually every copy was burned in the Nazi book-burnings. Haffner himself vanished in the 1930s.The novel opens on a cold winter day as eight youth, who consider themselves "Blood Brothers," are waiting at a welfare office where it is warm and where they can sleep. They have been up all night, out in the cold, and as the number of people waiting there is large, they can sleep relatively undisturbed. When twenty-one-year-old Jonny arrives with cigarettes, the group, awakened, knows that he has money and that they will get food that day. The author's descriptions are depressingly specific, as each person reflects uncertainty about what tomorrow will bring. Their interdependence is their only survival tool.Gradually, the reader comes to know Ludwig and Willi, who become the main characters, their stories alternating with those of the majority of the gang. Willi has escaped from "the institution," and the unsophisticated Ludwig has fallen for an old scam and ends up in jail, gulled by an older man. When Ludwig and Willi meet up later, their meeting affects their future lives. The fates of other individualized characters from the gang show the fickle nature of fate and the difficulties which groups acting as gangs can create from within: The influence of peer pressure and group action leads to a loss of individuality and sense of responsibility for the actions of the group. Ultimately, Haffner creates a full picture of Berlin's lower life - real, clear, and uncompromising, far different from the Nazi photos of clean-cut, well-pressed blonde youth celebrating the arrival of Hitler. An important and realistic book that gives a fuller picture of life in Germany in the early 1930s.

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. The Dark Side of the Weimar Republic By Anonymous Reviewer Blood Brothers paint a picture of the seemier side of the Weimar Republic in 1930 or so. This is not the Berlin of the Kufurstendamm with it's elegant clubs and theatres nor the middle class Berlin. This is the gritty Berlin of the slums, unemployment, inflation and the fallout from the Versailles Treaty. A group of late teenage boys banded together by their misery, lack of homes and hunger are forced to form a gang, the Blood Brothers, and learn to survive by petty and not so petty crime and selling their bodies and souls to eat. It is a cruel system that has no place other than harsh penal institutions for lost teens with little hope of rehabilitation and redemption. The writer etches the portraits and events with pen and ink, a sparsity of style akin to a wood block print. These are the young men, who by will be, out of desperation and hideous promises, the Brown Shirts to come. A quick and intriguing read. Consider listening to Weill and Brecht in the background and hang up a painting of Egon Schiele.

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A very good read By Harry This is fascinating look at the underclass of the Weimar Republic. It was banned by the Nazis. The author, alas, went missing during the war and was apparently never heard from again. This is a very different look at pre-war Berlin from what we know about the cabaret scene.

Spain is on the brink of economic collapse and European banks demand that any bailout be linked to harsh domestic changes. An alliance of Islamic bankers counters with a rescue package containing no conditions at all. The underlying goal: to break the unity of Europe and put Madrid on the path back to Islamic rule.

When the United States stridently opposes that deal, terrorists storm the American consulate in Barcelona and slaughter an entire six-man U.S. Marine security guard. Washington decides the time has come to change the rules of counter-terrorism response, and instead of going after the individual hired gunmen, it unleashes black operations team Task Force Trident to take down the high-ranking financiers known as the Group of Six who were really responsible for the slaughter. Gunnery Sergeant Kyle Swanson, one of the world's best snipers, and his beautiful sidekick Beth Ledford, go on the attack, and bodies fall from Mallorca to Madrid.

Meanwhile, Algerian mastermind Yanis Rebiane puts pressure on Spain to decide before the Group of Six cracks, while his killing-machine son, Djahid roams the United States, murdering anyone his father deems a threat to the radical Islamic takeover scheme. Once Swanson's name is unearthed from secret files, Kyle and Djahid become hunter and prey. In On Scope by Jack Coughlin and Donald A. Davis, one shot will decide the future of Spain, NATO, and the European Union.

On Scope: A Sniper Novel (Kyle Swanson Sniper Novels), by Jack Coughlin, Donald A. Davis

From Booklist The latest in the Sniper series continues to provide great action and to feature an engaging protagonist in sniper Kyle Swanson. The intensity is established immediately with an attack on the American consulate in Barcelona. A good friend of Swanson’s worked there and died in the crossfire, giving Swanson a personal interest in retaliation. He learns that the incident was instigated by the Group of Six, radical Islamic bankers interested in stealing a chunk of the European money market. Swanson and his team begin to hunt down the group, but they are unaware that a killer unlike anyone they have ever faced is on their trail at the same time. Its time for the authors to get off the post 9/11 theme that our only enemies are muslim. Kyle Swanson is a marine sniper, not James Bond. Lets get back to sniper tactics, new weaponary and being a soldier. It's not a bad book, but it's not as good as the others and once you finish reading it you feel a litle empty. I hope next year's effort is better.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. R F Whittaker is a Macabre Master of Horror Short Stories By Horror Author Shaun Hupp This is a great collection of R F Whittaker’s previously released work. I was a big fan of his previous collection and I think this is a pretty comparable book if you read the other.Dead Eyes Always Tell: 5 Out of 5 StarsGreat way to open this collection. This was a very creepy story with a very unique idea behind it. R F Whittaker definitely has the imagination of a great writer and the talent to back it up. I could easily picture this story being shown on Tales from the Crypt. It was very real and vivid. The story and the mental images it creates will stick with you for days.A Mother’s Nightmare: 3 out of 5 StarsI debated on whether to give this one 3 or 4 stars. It’s the story of a mother whose children go missing after a game of hide and seek. Everyone is searching the surrounding woods, but perhaps they are looking in all the wrong places. For me the story is worth 4 stars, but I didn’t find the ending satisfying enough. I would have liked a little bit more information to give the reader some closure.Lonely Hearts and Dripping: 5 Out of 5 StarsAnother great short story from R F Whittaker. Samuel is a simple man that eats, works, and goes to sleep. He's never even left home to look for significant other. Then, he finds an ad in the paper for a woman that might be perfect for him. They start writing letters back and forth and the story takes off with a series of twists and turns. I thought I had the end figured out twice and was totally wrong. This story drips with horror.Shall We Kill The Bailiffs?: 4 Out of 5 StarsMr. Bailiff is in the business of debt collection/repossession. It's not an easy business and you're bound to make a few enemies doing it. R F Whittaker takes us into a world where these enemies do exist and Mr. Bailiff and his new partner are about to meet them.A Leg and A Wing: 3 Out of 5 StarsThis is more of a humorous/morbid story about a couple of criminals trying to dispose of a body. Things aren’t going as planned and it gets worse and worse.Heather in the Water: 5 out of 5 StarsMy favorite of the collection. Here is a man that may seem normal on the outside, but the inside is a totally different matter. This mysterious man finds a random street and walks up and down it, checking each door until he finds one unlocked. Heaven help those inside. At first, I thought this tale was going to be purely psychological terror, but it quickly escalated into some pretty visually disturbing scenes. Not only does R F Whittaker write these scenes in such a way that the reader can picture what is going on, but I swear I could hear the gruesome sound of....well, you need to read to find out.If anything, my only gripe with the story is that I thought the author could have ended the story one paragraph earlier, leaving a bit to the reader's imagination because the final paragraph takes the story down a dark, dark road where few authors and readers dare to tread.Shampoo: 4 Out of 5 StarsGood to the last drop (of shampoo). Interesting story. It's not something I'd expect from R F Whittaker, but you can definitely see his style in the writing. The layout of the story reminds me of the set up of 'They Opened in the Fire'. The main character is incredible fleshed out and felt real. He has a crazy fetish. It's almost too crazy, but R F Whittaker manages to walk the thin line between believable and unbelievable. Taking us into the character's past, we learn how this shampoo fetish came to be and how it progressed into what it was in the present day. I give the author a ton of credit for taking something so out there and making it grounded in reality.Madame Brick: 4 Out of 5 StarsThis story is brutal, bloody, and gory. It borders on torture porn, but it has a story that backs it up. It reminds me a little of the Saw franchise in that each death was unique and fit 'the crime' of the person who got killed. Most of the characters in this story aren't very likable, but in the end, that can be a good thing. Don't get too attached. Not my favorite from R F Whittaker, but still pretty damn good.Eighty Widows Later: 3 Out of 5 StarsThis is probably the story I like least in this collection. It could just be me because it’s a historical type story and I prefer present day stories. Basically, it’s a story about a guy that sleeps with a lot of women while their husbands are off at war. This is a another story where I felt the ending wasn’t satisfying enough for me.They Opened in the Fire: 4 Out of 5 StarsThis was my first R. F. Whittaker story I ever read and it’s a fine closing story. I loved how the story started out from the wife's perspective, peaked with an ending of sorts, and then, retold from the husband's perspective. Most of the stories in this collection are very good and some of the best horror stories I’ve read. The ones that I didn’t care for are still solid stories with character development and plot. I never find issues with Whittaker’s spelling and grammar (Though, he’s British so keep that in mind. Some things are different for American grammar.) Overall, I think people will find this collection a great read.

A brilliant but dark and VERY disturbing collection of short stories By Michelle Burley I am a huge horror fan and these were the perfect read for the evenings. The author has a very distinct style, punchy and straight to the point. Not a word is wasted and each story is very unique and very different to the rest but there is an underlying darkness and downright depravity to them all which, personally I loved.Dead Eyes Always Tell – I was given a bit of a false sense of security with this story and I mean that in the best possible way! It is certainly creepy but not quite as brutal as some of the others. However, some moments in it stayed with me for quite some time after reading it.A Mothers Nightmare – This story got me. The way it is written made me feel the fear and the agony the mother felt and I went through every emotion with her. What is worse than not knowing what happened to your children? For Lindsay, perhaps the truth about what happened is worse. The story had a huge twist I didn’t expect and an outcome that resonated with me as a mother.Lonely Hearts and Dripping – Perhaps one of the most unique stories in the collection. I really felt for the main character. I won’t say anything to give it away but my goodness! It is not what you expect at all! The ending was a shocker.Shall We Kill the Bailiffs? – I know many people loathe this choice of career and I must admit I’m not fond of it, but I actually felt incredibly sorry for the men. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Twisted and harsh but none the less enjoyable.A Leg and a Wing – OK, so for me this was a bit of a breather from the more gruesome stories. Don’t get me wrong, the style of writing and the story itself are still just as ruthless but it was a lighter read. A nice half-way point through the book.Heather in the Water – this was my favourite of them all. The premise is a simple one, yet it fascinated me in a morbid kind of way and I was looking forward to it before I even reached it. It did not disappoint. It plays on common fears and does it so well that my heart was pounding as Kieran walked the street trying each of the doors until he found one unlocked. Once inside the house of the unsuspecting occupant the reader is thrown head first into a world of sickening acts and immoral deeds, all the while clinging to the hope that there will be a way out for the resident. I absolutely LOVED this story, cannot praise the author enough, although I could have done without the last small paragraph but it shows that the author is willing to go to places to shock and bring about an altogether more macabre feel to the tales. A must read!Shampoo – I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this because of the title. I thought it a little odd to have a story named something so normal and mundane in a book like this. I was wrong. The story is every bit as sick and twisted as the others and I found I enjoyed it immensely.Madame Brick – I think this was my least favourite but that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it because I did, just not quite as much as the others. It has some parts that are so well described that they had me physically cringing at the thought. Girl power!Eighty Widows Later – This was a good story with an ending that I didn’t see coming, although I had several ideas of possible endings in my head but none as shocking as the actual one! Never offer or accept a lift from a stranger is all I will say! They Opened in the Fire – A good one to end on. It left me wanting more. Again, the characters are so well introduced that I felt a deep sympathy for the wife in this and when she finds the left luggage I was desperate to know what was inside and I wasn’t disappointed when I found out.A fantastic read for horror fans from a writer who manages in a limited amount of pages to draw you into the story whether you want to be there or not! Would definitely recommend.

Some of them seemed pretty normal, then the surprise twist would come out of nowhere (and that's a good thing ). Definitely recommended for those who enjoy some off-kilter, disturbing and sometimes inappropriate, evil entertainment.

Now understand Psy/Soc for the MCAT 2015 By GY5 As a science major, I needed a good source for learning more about psychology and sociology for the MCAT. This book was comprehensive and understandable. I benefited from the presentation of the concepts and gained a familiarity with the concepts and have mastered the important components of the subject. I learned alot form using this book. My understanding of the topic improved and I can now respond to questions with both confidence and proficiency. I told several of my friends about this book and they also had a positive experience by using it.

The content is solid and reads well. The book seems to match well with the AAMC suggested topics for the psychology and sociology section of the MCAT. From this book, I was able to understand and process the topic. I needed a complete introduction and formal summary of the topic since I did not focus on this during my undergraduate years. Very happy with the learning that I achieved from reading the book.

Williams My MCAT tutor told me about this book to prepare for the psychology and sociology components of the MCAT. I am strong in sciences (biology major) and good with biological aspects of psychology but I need a complete overview of psychology and sociology to be solid with this material. The book was detailed and easy to read. Great content and well written. Very happy I chose this study guide to learn and review both psychology and sociology for the MCAT.
